IT'S 2022!!! 50/50 IS THE WAY TO GO!!! Me and my man split everything down the middle and I love it! It saves us both money so we can vacation and both of us can build our pocket together. You guys talk about pride and holding it down but it's different than it was back in the day. Woman love to talk about how they're independent but man are ALSO independent! That word is used completely wrong because we're all grown asf. If you're not independent than sorry to burst your bubble but you're not meeting basic ADULT criteria. Things are more expensive and I don't want all that stress on my significant other. But doing this doesn't make me any LESS feminine. We're both vulnerable to eachother, we both take eachother out for dates, and balance eachother out in so many ways. When we have a disagreement we don't yell or try to hurt the other person. We sit down and talk it out trying to understand eachother and fix it. We change eachother for the better. And ngl he makes me feel at peace same goes for him. And what I love about it is he's still manly even though I get to see him being vulnerable and empathetic towards me. He holds my doors open, he protected me on many occasions😂, and I feel loved and secure in our relationship. And he's not a "thug" or "nigga". He's an amazing man and nerd that gave me the greatest years of my life.

When you start out by saying your type is someone who looks like they’re about to go to jail, you’ve already failed. Don’t blame the dude.

The main difference between men & women going 50/50 in America Vs the rest of the world is that America is one of the few places in the world where the women have equal rights to men. Some other 3rd world countries women don’t work or contribute finically because they’re not allowed to. It’s not by choice. Women in America have the right to work and education which is why you see more women successful & contributing financially to the household compared to other countries
