Came here for Lu Dandong but the smart FL and the storyline are not bad at all. Good performances all round as well. It's women behaving badly and one woman's revenge against them. There's certainly an argument to be made against polygamy from the context. Of course the revenge plan works largely because the ML is in love with the FL already. If he wasn't, she wouldn't be able to get his attention. He does live dangerously putting her in jeopardy (consistent with the kind of person he is) but he does get her out of various scrapes of his or her own making. I think the show gets the balance right.
