- Basically, Scotty, if you see this (which we hope you do because it's really the main reason we made it) : we fell for you the second you auditioned for American Idol in January of 2011. You continued to win us over from then on. And we've been loving you and your music ever since. It's been over 3 years and we haven't ever seen you live! We've simply experienced your voice via the radio and tv. Then your summer tour for this year was announced and you were going to Columbus, OH which is a 6 hour drive for us but we were going to make the trip because we wanted to see you so badly! But we didn't have money to find a place to stay and travel all the way out there, and get tickets. However, shortly after, we discovered you were performing at the Tennessee Valley Fair and I knew that would be the day we finally got to see you and nothing was going to stop us! We bought our tickets in July, but they went so quickly, and buying for a family of 5, we were only able to get section 200..
Now, we are in no way complaining... We are grateful to even experience the moment, but we really really really want to meet you and we made tshirts and everything. We even bought ride wristbands in hopes to maybe catch you in line for a ride or something crazy like that. We're not asking for a 30 minute conversation. A picture and a "hello" would make us so happy :) And we completely understand if you are unable to grant our requests, but we decided to go out on a limb, make this video, show you our efforts, and hope for the best. If we don't get to meet you, then we still get to see you for the first time ever, hear your voice, and that is enough to make us smile:) And 2 of us get out of college classes, 1 of us get out of high school classes, and dad gets out of work, so "You're worth the drive, you're worth the drive" :)

Scotty didn't let money,succes and fame rise into his mind to become famous as an artist. He gives value to all the goals he conquered and is still the same person until being grateful;which is a beautiful thing in the human character! Last year he became a married man who is going to be happy with his wife Gabi McCreery. God bless him as a person and entertainer!!!!!!

I watched and recorded all of this season - was such an emotional roller coaster of a season with sooo many talented people that it was a shame there could only be one winner - but Scotty did deserve to win, was proud of him and pleased for him!

When I heard that he was only 24 when he got married and then he became famous and I have wanted to see him and when I did i was speachles i seen him at the armada fair and my mom couldn't get the bands for getting close to the stage but my dad did and when he started singing 5 more minutes I started crying because that was the song that I wanted to happen because I never had 5 more minutes with my papa before he passed from blader cancer and passed the day after my 8 birthday that was all I wished I had was 5 more minutes so I could say goodbye

Great video. Unbelievable job. Did you meet him? I went to his concert in Boston. I had 2 t-shirts made for him and his wife. The front said God Bless you and the back had a picture of him and Gabi at Family Feud when he said Booyah. I tried to get them to him but couldn't get near the stage. Then I met a guy, who said he was his manager, so I gave him the shirts and asked if he'd give them to him. That was probably 3 or 4 years ago and I've never seen him or his wife wearing them or heard if he got them. I even messaged him on fb and commented on a lot of his videos and still no word. I love him and his wife. He's a person I'd model myself after if I was young. Works hard, gives his all at everything, and God comes first. His wife the same although much cuter. Lol. Together they ARE the perfect couple. I just think he's amazing musically yes but as a person too. Just wish I knew if he got those shirts. Thanks for the video. I teared up a little. Lol
