The INquisitor is right when he says to Jesús : "You are a god but humans are not gods and will never be able to do what you did".Jesus demanded too much and humanity will never be able to live what he taught. Not even Jesús himself could do it. Jesús said: Dont judge. But how many times did he himself judge?
Jesus told us, humans, not to judge because all of us are actually doing some sins ourselves, so when we judge others, we hypocritically raise ourselves above those whom we judge. Jesus in another hand, never sinned and is the Son of God, therefore has the right to judge rightly.

Doesn't Dostoevsky in Ivan's words criticize the possibility of the injustice being balanced in another world? This does not address Ivan's remark regarding the edifice of justice being built on cruelty towards innocent beings.
