Been thinking about the Roman Empire a lot as well. Edit: Jonny, if u haven't and interested in Caesar watch HBO's Rome.
Took a while for Victrix to release this set, I bought the (back then new) moulded Victrix early imperial Romans, great models and a joy to paint in all their detailed glory, I expected this set to come out about the same time, Victrix's Celtic chariots are a beauty as well.

Love how you get to look at a kit and get a history lesson too.
If you ever did like a small roman skirmish with loads of contextual info around the units and tactics, I'd be hooked.

Victrix have amazing minis, but instructions are meh at best. So it's very good to see the "ikea" instructions for this!
