@sandaramoore9660 thank you Sandra!! I JUST organized my craft room for a new of year of creating!! My son and his girlfriend have been evacuated because of the fires (we are safe) so we have a full house again! 🥰

The recycling yarns r really nice. I can't wait to see the weaving on ur loom. I agree that crocheting or any craft is great for calming ones nerves. Also for me is going to the beach and body surfing. If you can believe that this Ole broad does it. Lol my friends call me a mermaid. Hey life is short, do what u love!!!
Every yarny youtuber I've watched this week has sworn to God they're not buying new yarn this year, just using their existing stash. By the way, that's was my New Year's resolution too. I'm afraid, that if we could really keep this promise, the yarn manufacturers and yarn shops could pull down the curtain right now, but knowing myself and seeing the experiences of other ladies in knitting and crocheting groups in the past years... well... I don't worry about yarn sellers too much. I wonder how long we will be able to resist the temptation this year ;-)

Another blanket giving idea is to donate made blankets to fire and police stations. With the cold weather and so many home fires, the departments give blankets to families to keep warm.

I am excited that two of my granddaughters ages 14 are learning to crochet and doing great with it.
