The Time of Miracles is a collection of short stories set in an alternate steampunk London in the year 1873. The city is a dangerous place, filled with corrupt politicians, monolithic companies with private armies bent on world domination, roving gangs of crooks, and bobbies indistinguishable from the criminals they are supposed to apprehend. Amidst this chaos, everyone else is just trying to survive in the lawless world of The Time of Miracles.

I was just wondering is the diary in this story related to the missing book that the little was killed over in the last story, chapter 1: the target trader?

Hello! Thank you for your comment. I can't give too much away because the story is building to something. There is a major connection in the first chapter with the second chapter, however. If you listen to the part with the confrontation and the aftermath of it, you might notice the connection.

Hello! Thank you for your comment, these short stories all are linked together and each short story is a small snapshot of the greater world.
I'm hoping people will be interested in the overarching narrative. I don't get too much time to write them so l hoped they can be listened to both as stand alone stories and for people who are interested, parts of a larger story.

Hello, @conniehayes2796 thank you for your feedback. I'm just going to say first of all I'm sorry you felt you wasted 20 minutes. My original intention was to have them as interconnected short stories but in retrospect now, I think I should restructure things so people are aware not everything is going to be wrapped up in the short story.
