Steve McQueen had such charisma and natural masculinity.
I am a life long admirer of STEVE MCQUEEN and I'm surprised I've never seen this?!
OK I have only just found this myself, his Triumph would have been parked out front..
Surprised me too!
I was just thinking that same thing, when I found this.
I think every actor explores avenues in their early years to see where they belong. Steve obviously ended up on the big screen playing big characters.
Steve McQueen and Arthur Hill, brilliant !
Steve McQueen is one the most handsome and charismatic American actors of all time. RIP Steve 🌹💗
Yup. There's no one close to Steve McQueen's cool and fineness these days. Rest in Paradise Steve McQueen.💜😺
Excellent. This is the conclusion of Steve McQueen meeting the martian
This planet could be fixed in no time if we just get rid of the money grubbers
Cry me a river.
Steve McQueen always wore the same signet ring on his left ring finger in all his performances-- even when it looked out of place.
Arthur Hill looked the same the day he died as he did then, just gray!
Spoilers ahead.
Anyone notice at :52 McQueen snatches the cigs from the bartenders pocket and then shortly after the bartender snatches them back. Funnier when you remember they're both Martian.
Always liked this episode
I have the whole AHP on DVD & also the Alfred Hitchcock hour
This is awesome. 😁
Very short actors were coming through in the mid 50s since Brando became popular all under 5. 7" , Dean , McQueen around 5.6" . Film can do anything as they say ! 👍
Good one
Steve McQueen 5'8", Arthur Hill 6'2"
5:41
So so good!
Why did so much of the sci fi back then think a dark ending was the only way to go. The radio shows seemed to do the same thing.
Much of the sci fi and radioactive triggered giant monsters etc. arose out of deep fears of nuclear annihiliation and man messing with things beyond our control.
The original story had a lighter ending.
Probably because before that it was dominated by happy ending and people got bored.
I was fortunate to meet Steve McQueen when he was a mature man. Wow, he was awesome.
VERY fortunate! I'm jealous!
They've taken over, all right.
Yeah. They're on Fox news
@@2degucitas no doubt. It is owned by Disney.
The election is on November 8. Hope for the best.
Has anyone else noticed how much Steve McQueen has grown between each pinball scene...he's a foot taller
Episode aired May 24, 1959
He worked with the best of the studio system. Which was dying. He was so competitive and ambitious . He took it all in. That's why he's The King of Cool. Thank you
Wow!
Cool beans!!!😁👍
Very Twilight Zone for Hitchcock.
TZ had a similar story only set in a Soda Shoppe.
This is Season 4 Episode 32 from 1959. It is NOT Season 1.
Thanks for the correction. I was able to find the whole episode out in the interwebs...
The correction has since been made in the description, glad to see.
4:26 - 4:35. A little levity inserted. 😆
Hello 👋 Bill - (Steve McQueen ) went on and became Bounty Hunter JOSH RANDALL and then was Vin in the original western 🤠 🎥 Magnificent 7 way to go Steve McQueen ( King Of Cool 😎 ) one of Hollywood's Legends ⭐ July 25,2021
The bounty hunter role was in the series 'Wanted, Dead or Alive,' right?
@@ronmackinnon9374 Yeah.
Steve mc queen. Most handsome man ever.
Their Here🤔🤓🥺
I Kinda Liked to Seen S.M. Had Did More Sci Fi.
Came here for Clint Eastwood, a comment below is that he actually only had a brief appearance in the beginning of this half-episode. I guess this is my introduction to Steve McQueen. 😎
It’s ironic watching a sci fi when your in a sci fi. In the future people will watch these shows and movies and know they were giving us messages. There’s one thing though....the actors use to act in a way which made it seem enjoyable to be a human. All actors today seem dead of energy with a bad attitude ta boot. Thats because their imitating the actors they’ve been watching. A secret plot to deaden our spirits by weakening our energy so nobody could stand each other. Well it worked. But I believe that future world will be populated by lively beings like the golden era of entertainment was. They won’t be stoic like their always presented because that’s the way we are now. So hang on my friends and get ready to liven up and use that wonderful energy in abundance and communicate like we’ve never communicated before. And if you think I’m outta my mind your probably right. But I’m just having fun.
I read Clint Eastwood was in on this episode. Is it true?
I read that also!
You mean as a writer, idea guy?
@@2degucitas No, Clint appears as a background actor in one quick shot
Clint Eastwood was in an opening shot as a worker at a desk in a newsroom. But the opening is not included in this video.
They sure changed this story. Original is better. "The Last Martian. "
You can't watch THIS episode on peacock....😡
Based on Fredric Brown's The Last Martian.
No. Based on A Human Interest Story.
Hm hm emmm okay
Oh how many fingers that poor wife lost 😠 before she finally won. What a wonderful typical Alfred Hitchcock movie 🍿 ending. I had forgotten what kind of a movie 🍿 this was until I saw the ending and then there had been no doubt whatsoever that it had been an Alfred Hitchcock movie. And a great movie 🍿 too. Steve McQueen was a good father to his children. However he had been a bully to those who had been to women and those too small to defend themselves against his physical abuse of people who had the misfortune of having been too small to defend their themselves against being physically abused by him. He had been too physically small to defend himself against the ones who bullied him so he made himself feel good 👍🏻 by bullying and physically abusing those who had been too small to defend themselves against him, mainly women and young girls. I’m not sure about what he did to young men or boys. I know what he did when he starred in the movie 🍿 series Wanted Dead or Alive. He played Josh Randle and he used his power to bring criminals to justice in that movie series much like Richard Boone in Paladin’s movie 🍿 Wanted Dead or Alive. 🍿🍿🍿🥰🥰🥰🥰
