Humayun became emperor of India after his father died, but he didn't have control of the land, because his enemy Sher Shah wanted to be emperor and fought many battles with him. Humayun wanted blessings from holy people so God would give him his kingdom back. He went to Guru Angad to get this blessing. He went to the Guru with pride and he decided he would not get off of his horse to greet the Guru as an equal. The Guru didn't notice the emperor coming, and was in meditation. Humayun became angry and he stormed off of his horse to kill the Guru for disrespecting his authority. When he pulled his sword out, the Guru said, "Your sword comes out very quick to kill men of God, but it could do nothing to kill your enemy Sher Shah, where was your sword then?". Humayun became very ashamed. He came off of his horse, and bowed to the Guru and asked for forgiveness. He asked the Guru to pray for him and restore his throne, and the Guru told him that this would happen, and that he should be a fair king. Mughal King Akbar Born in Amerkot,Sindh Province Pakistan Hindu King Rana Parshad aka Rana Patta was 18th king of Amarkot(Umerkot)(1530/1556).[citation needed] Who gave refugee to Mughal king Humayun when we has defeated by Sher Shah Suri and nobody was offering him refugee because every kingdom was frightened of Sher Shah Suri.[1] Personal life Edit Rana Parshad Singh was grandson of Rani Champa and son of Rana Ganga. He had a son named Rana Chandersen Sodha.[2] In popular culture Edit It is said that when Akbar become the king of Delhi, he banned revenue taxes in the areas of Tharparkar and Amarkot.[3] The famous poet of Sindh Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai has said in his Sindhi poetry in Shah Jo Risalo "Nika Jhal nika jad nika raher deh mein" means that in kingdom of Rana there is no revenue or governmental tax, everybody lives prosperous life.
