Now that's a really cool blacksmith, he makes his own high carbon steel (similar to Tamahagane), brilliant, I've never seen that before from any of the other swordsmiths.
Imagine the level of dedication to create that level of perfection before you could call your self a master... go back in time and how did they do it: ...... cause you had to invent that stuff.... or translat knwolege over millenials. There are so many steps in the process that could go wrong... that learning curve is unamaginable...
Nonsense. He takes relativ.y clean iron nails and carburizes them into very dirty steel which he cleans up through an exhaustive process of forging and reforming. Far simpler processes are available. I'm not saying he's not a good bladesmith but he is a wretched and inefficient steel maker. Roll the hot biller in manure? Why? Incidentally he shamelessly showboats jitterbugging his bellows and raising enormous blazes for no apparent reason other than impressing the rubes
At first I thought the guy was making actual food. All I could do was watch that green finger nail and all the crap under his nails and skin sores.im glad i realized it was fake food because it was amazing and i didn’t have to worry about his hands

Negara jepang punya pandai besi pembuat samurai, indonesia punya empu pembuat keris...

Awesome job ,,,The Spirit of Fire. For Japanese blade ...... ❤
Very Interesting, what is the longest swored you have ever made??
That's great. I want to have one.
aww i wish i could own it wow look at that wow.

I noticed that the swordsmith lit the forge without hammering a piece of iron. Does that mean the fire spirit will not inhabit the finished sword?

As I understand it, only tamahagane is allowed in swords in Japan. Or it is not considered a piece of art.
