that skate changed my skating forever. most influential skate I've ever owned, best $200 I ever spent. that being said...i reallllly want those new green ones
6:00 I have the green lomax 60’s and going from the original cuff to the newer one I also noticed the lines didn’t match that well 😂 however it was a HUGE upgrade
I've got 72s and 80s. I love them both but they've needed some tinkering to get right! I had to go to town on the cuffs with a Dremel to get it to tighten enough! And added a ski boot spoiler for more height around the back, I have the inner cuff bolts down and the outers up to keep perpendicular and I put a Roces memory buckle on! I don't bother with the mid straps, but I lace from the boot to the liner, and the liner has extra lace holes at the top (like Intuitions). I've got 5mm rubber in that gap under the back of the cuff to stiffen up the forward flex a little too......! The 72s are a little better because of the H block and the leather part for the laces, they just feel more secure. Also have Sliqx sliders double sided taped on without hardware. I'm early 90s old-school old, so they're the perfect skate for me!👍
@@todd_harrison4500 One day we will Skate an Aeon 72 and 80 that requires no mods like this 🤞 This level of depth getting your skate to feel right is something I truly appreciate. Makes me feel less crazy about how particular I am about skate feel.
@@alexrowley5014Hasn't even looked like coming off👍 and I'm sure as hell getting my money's worth from them! I'll wear them down to the boot and not have to worry about destroying any hardware!😏
I have not found a skate I enjoy more for pure enjoyment of Rolling with zero desire for grinding. 80mm is my curren favorite size for all things rolling. Could not agree more with all critiques on the aeon boot. The Myfit “Fatboy” liner is my current Go to liner.
The Same here I bought it and think yesh this will be the funniest skate. And than i love it It changed My Style of skating !!! And i skate over 20 years
Lowering a cuff is def not placebo. Allowing more forward flex is what you need for boot and topside tricks, not side to side. Try it, get in your royale position and note your ankle movement. Then do the older blader ankle bone royale. Yes, I will forever die on this hill

I just got the green ones. Such a fun skate. I wish USD would make the 45 strap standard. I don't particularly like those 45 lace loops.

The little tips on laces are called aglets. Their true purpose is sinister.
