I'm telling you car detailing is on a complete different level then it was when I was growing up. Back in the 80s and 90s I had taken my car to different places that was supposed to be great at their job. I never received the results I was looking for. So that's when I started just doing it myself. Even with me doing it never seen good enough. My thoughts and hopes precisely. Anyone who neglects a car so much allowing it to get to that state doesn't inspire a lot of confidence though. Some countries like Portugal are quite rightly starting to fail very dirty cars on MOT. The Golf should have failed years ago for the perished tyre alone. It didn't get to that state overnight.
One of the best yet. Love these transformation jobs but this was on a different level. I guess one thing those of us who keep on top of our own car's cleaning regime don't get is the satisfaction of bringing something like this back to life.
Dude, I was a valeting manager, like 20 years ago and always got involved with the car's and always found a little something to make the car's stand out. Have watched a lot of your videos, but I think this was by far the best. Thank you sir 👍👍👍
Not sure why anybody would do a thumbs down. Car looks GREAT!! Can’t expect absolute perfection from an 8 yr old car. One thing I would recommend, and maybe you did it but it’s not on video, is polish and hydrophobic coat all the glass. It’s a fantastic add on. Every single one of my customers have appreciated spending the extra money on that. Once again, great work fellas. Excellent video
True... you'll get more shine from a quality carnauba wax - but you get so much more protection from ceramic. You can always wax over the ceramic if you want...
I recently did a 17 year old fiesta that had been used as a builders car. That was in much worse condition than this one lol. I could have done so much more to it but in this game you do what the customer wants but do it better than they expect. A 20 minute video really doesn't show the amount of effort that it takes to get these kinds of results. It's hard work! Car looked great when finished and you could see the clients were well pleased. I'm jealous of their workshop! Great video Jon. All the best Jim
