Thanks. From reading the comments, this video has already helped people find the right beach cabana for their families. If my review video can help people, it's worth every penny.
I still love my CoolCabana - 3rd yr using it so far and it is great quality. Still like new. Amazing on windy days. And the large one gives plenty of room for 3 chairs on one side of the pole plus a queen size beach sheet on the other side. I can open it solo which is great now that we have a new baby! Worth paying the bit extra and I would buy it again in a heartbeat.
Yes!!! I was waiting for this review. I think for my solo parent beach trips I'll get the cool cabana... But that "EZ" tent looks pretty solid, too bad it's not easy to set up without help. Thank you SO much for spending all the money to review these 🎉
I have both the Easygo and the Qipi. Both are very similar. My EasyGo I have had for 5 years and still going. The Qipi I bought 2 and have had them for 1 year. All tents work great. I like the Qipi because it came with a side panel. My EasyGo did not at the time. I live in Daytona Beach so it gets really windy hear. I do bury the spike below the line for more stability. If you use an additional screw spike you can get one online or at a beach shop they are more sturdy. Neith of my tents has blown around nearly as much as yours. Mine have been fairly stable. Love both of mine or I should say all 3.
Thanks, Anne! I'm glad you've had better luck with your Qipi and EasyGo beach cabanas in the wind. I'm planning on using my Beachr beach umbrella auger with my EasyGo on a windy day to help stabilize it.
I wish the Coolcabana came with a side wall. I did see some third party company that was selling one so that might be an option. Excellent review, as always! I was curious about Qipi but it doesn't seem rugged enough. That auger is pitiful! And for solo beach setup, I'm not really a fan of the "umbrella opening" design. Too tricky on a windy day.
Thanks! I want to find that third-party sidewall and try it out. Maybe the folks at Qipi (Outdoor Master) and EasyGo will improve their auger after watching this video.
Yay, new content! As always I appreciate your testing/review methodology, and opinions Matty! I just bought the Neso Grande, and sun ninja blanket (as per your reviews) and also the Segoal ergonomic inflatable, Ivation portable tent shower compact, tekology inflatable pillow 2.0, Aosion portable camping shower tent, and collapsible bucket 5gal. Regard, Shane
@@BeachGearGuy Very great review. An interesting fact to share, after analyzing the sales data, customers seem to prefer stripes to patterns, so the designer made the new green stripes shown in the video.
Interesting. I prefer stripes to patterns too. I did my best to buy a mix of beach cabanas with patterns and stripes for this video so they would look different. Thanks for sharing that.
My pleasure! I will not be reviewing the Tommy Bahama Wonder Wheeler anytime soon, but I will be reviewing the CRESTWALKER Heavy Duty Foldable Beach Cart with Big 13" Balloon Wheels.
Rio Brands makes many Tommy Bahama beach gear products. Here's my review of the Rio Wonder Wheeler Beach Cart: ruclips.net/video/qyQWQsz9eEw/видео.html
This video will help you out: ruclips.net/video/NrgW3WlvsnE/видео.html I compare the Cool Cabana with the Sun Ninja and not the Neso Grande, but the Sun Ninja and Grande are the same type of beach canopy.
The cool cabana looks decent but they need to make it taller and they need to include a side panel like many of the lower cost options. We al know the sun moves and then you end up with very little shade.
Ezy Fast looks like the one I like the best! Awesome Video! Hope this video makes you some money so you dont have to live off raviolis 😂. Also you were Awesome but now you're a legend in my book since you like Bob Ross!! Keep up the good work man!
Thanks, George! You really know how to cheer a guy up! 😊 I thought you might be a fellow Bob Ross fan. I watched him with my grandmother way back in the 80s. She would paint along with him in her living room, which was challenging because this was before VCRs were big, so she couldn't pause the program to catch up with him.
These are getting pretty popular which is making me curiouser and curiouser of them. That Easy Fast looks awesome. Especially with the shade wall. And the Cool Cabana seems to have good build quality. Thanks for quality beach gear content man.
What’s funny about the EzyFast is that it’s the closest thing to a canopy tent so it’s a pain to set up like any canopy tent. But the size and overall set up is sweet.
These are great reviews. Have you managed to get your hands on the Soli inflatable canopy yet? Would love to know your opinion as I am debating that vs Cool Cabana.
@@BeachGearGuy it's definitely an interesting deisgn. I wonder about how much shade it throws with the semi pointed top but they do include a wall which would help for later in the day.
Thanks, Rabbi! Companies are starting to email me to review their products. They've been offering me free products and money. I'm saying yes to a handful of the beach gear products worth checking out, but I have yet to accept any money. When manufacturers pay for a review, they usually want to approve it before it's uploaded. When I review a product, the company sees the review for the first time once it's uploaded. I prefer to keep my reviews impartial and unfiltered.
I haven't tried the SOLI canopy, but I'm seeing a lot of it on Instagram. It looks cool, but it doesn't appear to have anchor pockets to weigh it down when it gets windy. Stakes are good but they can only do so much when the breeze picks up.
Having tested all the tents and shades on the market, what is your favorite? I'm torn between the Shibumi, Solbello, and the CoolCabana. It's for a family of 4.
@@BeachGearGuy The Solbello Shade and the Useitt umbrella both worked great. Wind wasn't an issue with either one. I got caught in a downpour with the Useitt, had a few seam leaks. I'm going to give it a treatment with Star Brite sealer so I can hang out even during a rain shower. Already miss the beach, going back in September!
Love all your videos. Don't worry more people are going to start viewing your videos since it will be the start of beach season.

So happy to see this. I bought a cool cabana last summer and haven’t used it yet.

Love all your videos. make a review of the UNP Easy Beach Tent 12 X 12 ft or similar tents and test it on windy conditions that would be interesting

What’s your favorite Cool Cabana type shade that’s not the “Cool Cabana” ?
$220 is crazy
The Qipi is a good value, and AMMSUN makes a good beach cabana, too, but it's smaller.
@@BeachGearGuy thanks Beach Gear Guy!
Do you think pairing the Beachbub Ultra Base with the Easygo Canopy will hold up better in the wind?
That's an interesting idea. The BeachBUB base would definitely help with the stability.
Any idea if the Red Label version of cool cabana is worth the extra $?
The Red Label is the same size as the CoolCabana 5. From what I can tell, the most significant difference is the wavey fringe.

The trade off aeems to always be price for durability. I say buy it for life get one that you cna reuse and stand the wind. Good enough
