I'm from Vancouver and I have to say that In Our Bedroom After the War was one of my absolute favourite albums that Stars did. I saw them in concert after the release at an all ages show and I will never forget it for the rest of my life. It's too bad the band themselves can't appreciate it - especially all of the hard work that was put into it. It truly showed, in my opinion. It captures the essence of Vancouver: it's hard work to live here, but it also can be beautiful.
