If all the truck needed for a safety was spring pins and bushings and a windshield, call that a win. Kudos to you Mike for keeping your equipment up to snuff.
Mike, for bushings, get the largest ready rod that will fit, washer and nut each side, then pull in with that wonderful impact wrench you have.
Best wishes all.
I owned my own shop, I found all of the ways to make changing pins and bushings a ton easier.. never seize everything or you will learn new curse words that even you will want to wash your mouth out. The new style glass is not what I call easier or even nicer. I used those seals that you put a rope in the glass seal and pulled the glass in... just a few seconds and glass installed, then the chrome ring on the outside. I could do either side in about ten minutes... but if you have twenty rigs on the road, all gravel and some highway... glass was just a wind block if not changed.
We go through alot of windshields up here. Lots of gravel on the roads
Good morning from España espero que todo vaya bien pues hace tiempo que no públicas videos un abrazo micke
Good morning Mike, are you going to give the 359 another run,😅❤❤
Bushings put in your freezer at home for a long time ,take out and put them in easy as pie.
Ole Duke has a lot of loads left in him,he really needs to be working.great job Mike🤙🤙🤙✝️✝️✝️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦😎
Its such a shame to see 'Duke' being prepared like this ready to be back on the road and off to a new owner. Keep the spirits up Mike.
It’s what It was built to do, and money can go towards sorting out the cabovers.
Use a piece of threaded bar and suitable washers and wind bushes into place. A bolt & washer will pull the shackle into place - the pin is threaded, so use it. Loads easier than your method. Good job done however you achieved it!!
Mike do you have a post office box i have an Australian trucking magazine id like to send you ,think you will find it interesting ,enjoyed this video in the shop is best

You could have put bushes in freezer to shrink them a bit.
Sorry buddy good luck to you an whole family
Next time you do bushes freeze then it makes it way way easier to get them in
Always enjoy nice engineering Mike, fully replaceable wear parts.
Nice job.
Good call to get rid of it for the greater good.
Cabovers are greater..
Love the cabovers 🤗
Great video Mike a little maintenance on Duke front rear spring mounts. Always enjoy your videos and the music stay safe Mike.
I love that your videos are relaxing, Mike.
Good job 😊 selling is for a good cause. Keep the cabovers alive😊
This pete is a good look truck
Hey Mike I think that duke needs a good polishing especially the chrome
you should buy truck from auctions iaai or copart for awesome project
I've been thinking of that. Something really cool
Next time, use an oscilating multi tool. Super easy to cut the glued in windows.
Good idea!
Your videos are my favorite truck content to watch, when are you getting the 3408 pete truck??
Idno that I can make that one happen.
@@mikethetrucknut It'd be worth selling k2 to get that pete ,or selling your soul 😁
😎👍
Hate to see Duke 😢
Suffering like that..
Why not using a G-Clamp
Now that would have been a good idea.
🙆♂️🇱🇷🖐🖐🖐🗣📢HELLO MAKE
Nobody will put in as much attention to detail and the love and care into Duke as much as you have .....just my thoughts on the matter....the very sad 😢 part of it is that i think you will regret selling Duke in the long run no matter what the reasons you have for selling the truck in the first place....again, just my opinion...
Yeah it's definitely alot of mixed emotions
