We were young and stupid! Let’s just start off with that disclaimer. We decided to go to the woods to find the perfect tree. We found out and after many hours we finally tied this thing down to the top of the station wagon. We got it home and grandpa came out to look at our tree. He just laughed and laughed. The tree was massive. He had to cut and chop and trim to even get it through the front tree. We got up and he asked where we got it. We told him and my grandmother screamed “YOU GOT IT FROM THE GOLF COURSE!”

Charlie’s going to be that type of dad who just sends his kids to church camp.
I mean, church camp was actually really fun. As a kid, we got to play games, watch videos, make crafts, and eat snacks. Even as a teenager, church camp was unironically fun, we had gameshows, water activities, competitions, contests, etc.

This is how my Dad and uncle went looking for Christmas trees. They brought home some sad looking trees trying to save money.
We'd go with Grandpa to the woods, and he'd cut down a cedar tree for the good smell, but they are not as symmetrical.
