Hey guys! So, as explained in the beginning, I've been on break for the past week and a half to take care of things (and myself) which is why this is late. I do know that there is a second trailer but I ended up watching that in my own time as there was a whole lot to it (they looked stunning tho obvs).
Also, I have a big long list of things that I've missed that I'll be slowly catching up on over the month so don't worry if you're waiting for a specific reaction. Chances are it's coming soon :)

Good Bones is a reference to a poem by the same name by Maggie Smith, basically about how the half of the world is shit but it's got good bones, you can make it beautiful.
The director wanted to show this by contrasting the dark, low key background of the trailer to the bright fashion and the self confident manner of the members.
The message of the trailer is how others who look at them and say that they have it Easy, don't know the difficulties the members go through and that it's through LE SSERAFIM's efforts and attitude that they makes it look Easy, like how Sakura gets a nosebleed using her powers, but isn't phased by it and declares it's Easy.
This trailer is honestly so good, really looking forward to EASY comeback 🔥🔥🔥🔥
LE SSERAFIM is known for making high quality album trailers with a storytelling concept. There is so much symbolism in this video and I'm so impressed.
Eunchae falling down the stairs:
In the video you hear the phrases 'the pain of facing that truth' and 'at the backstage after the lights go out' right before she fell. This is to show you that even though everything may look smooth and easy on the stage, if you look at everything that happens behind the scenes it's not easy and they've fallen down many times in nasty ways to get to where they are now. After Eunchae fell, she doesn't look hurt because she is not going to let struggles and obstacles get in her way and put her down (could reference their previous song antifragile)
Also, to me it seems like symbolism of saying 'reaching the top is one thing and takes a lot of effort, but one small slip up and you're back at the bottom' (especially in an industry as cut throat as the idol industry)
Sakura's nosebleed
When she says 'easy' after just obliterating like 4 walls, there is sarcasm there. She says it was easy but her nosebleed suggests otherwise. Those walls she destroyed could also resemble all the walls of hate they need to break down to get recognition and to prove themselves.

I think this could be considered a ' joke' or 'pun' saying like what they're doing is a 'piece of cake' (which it isn't)
This whole album trailer is a masterpiece and it makes me so intrigued for what's to come. They are so edgy and different and badass and not like any other gg I've seen. My ult group is BTS and I never thought I'd stan another group besides them bc other groups haven't really caught my attention but these LE SSERAFIM girls are different.
The whole album is called EASY and it speaks on how underneath their fearless attitude and confidence, are insecurities too and just because they make it look 'easy' doesn't mean it is. They work so hard, that's why what they do looks easy bc they've worked so hard to make it look that way.
Of course I am not 100% sure if this was their intention and if the meaning is completely correct but this is how I interpreted it
Eunchae slapping Zuha's hand kinda felt like she was "passing the torch" to her, like Yunjin did when she handed Eunchae the cup. No idea what any of it means, but it's cool as hell.
oh my god, you have to read the weverse magazine article that interprets the visual images presented in the trailer asap, for example: the “garbage” in which Sakura lies actually can represents idols, if you look closely, you can see that these are not just waste, but beautiful flowers.
First, Yunjin and Eunchae walk along a street with shops on both sides of them and during the day in the light of the sun there were beautiful flowers that everyone admired, just like we admire idols who seem so beautiful to us when they perform on stage in the spotlight. But then as soon as night falls, as soon as the spotlight goes out, the flowers end up in the trash heap underground, and that's how idols feel behind the scenes. Seeing how they do everything beautifully and easily, how they MAKE IT LOOK EASY, it seems to us that they are on top of the world, while in fact, faced with constant criticism, hate, their own insecurities, they are the ones who feel at the very bottom, thrown to the margins of the world.
In addition, I have another theory related to the album (and to my surprise and pride I came up with it myself, it turns out my brain is capable of something). Let's talk about the lotus, lotus appears on the cover of the album, as well as in the title of one of the concept photos, and in fact lotuses starts to bloom in the morning and delight us all day with their beauty, only to then plunge under the water with the onset of darkness, just like idols - they delight us with their beauty and talent in the spotlight, only to then plunge into the abyss of their doubts, worries and pain, as soon as the light will go out, and then bloom again as if nothing had happened in the morning, as if they hadn’t been suffocating all that long night there, in the depths, in pitch darkness, it’s so tragic and beautiful at the same time (+ in the trailer there were the words “I won’t let myself be drowned” , which may also be a reference to the image of a lotus)
incase if you're missing it. the super power they got in this trailer, its already mention in their pre-debut interview "were lesserafim". like filling the food (yunjin), super power (eunchae), and teleport (chaewon, kazuha).

I’m biased too but i totally agree about ssera having 1 foot in kpop and 1 foot in some other universe 😭😭 like i cant explain it with words but theres just something so different and exciting and special about this group in soooo many aspects…anyway, thanks for the reaction Kaia! 🫶
They’re my all time favorite group too! They helped get me through the death on my mother this past year. They’re amazing and will always have a place in my heart. My bias is Yunjin but as all Fearnot understand, it’s hard not to have all 5 be biases. 💚

I think I get your point regarding one feet on K-pop and one feet on another. I think for me in my opinion is the effect of Yunjin on their group. She contributes on their song writing and suggest some improvements on it. That is what I feel and that is one of the reasons why on Perfect Night is a success on the West due to having Yunjin contribute on the song writing. Also, the charisma of the group is what makes me stan them more especially Sakura which is popular on Japan. I think they are targeting not only on Korea but also on other countries everytime they release their song which is why they always create something like this on their trailer which has 3 different language. I know in Japan they release a different version though.

Kim Chae-won, Jo Yuri, Kim Min-ju, and Kang Hye-won have been constantly suspected as manipulation members of IZ*ONE. In particular, Kim Chae-won has been the subject of the most doubts, following her IZ*ONE debut and success and leaving Woollim Entertainment to move to Hive. Regarding her success in Le Seraphim, she has always been plagued by haters who say her life is too lucky. (Of course, this is not luck.)
Chaewon's part in this trailer is a direct rebuttal to that.
Minju and Hyewon were objectively not rigged, both were consistently in the top 12 on PD48. People targeted them because they are generally less talented/both were trained for acting. Mnet only ever admitted to rigging two contestants out of the final lineup, but if you go by voting from the last episodes the most likely suspects to be rigged in are Chaewon, Yuri and Yujin. Considering they are from the three biggest companies represented in the show, this makes even more sense. Yuri is the most obvious, having never been top 12 before the final episode.
That said, based on the list you can pretty much surmise that Mnet was trying to elevate talented people, particularly vocalists. And considering Izone was very successful musically, it’s hard to say they made the wrong decision even despite the fact that it was illegal.
At the end of the day Chaewon had nothing to do with that decision and those three have earned their place.
@@Sogeking995 Jo Yuri was shown to have risen 9 places from 19th to 10th at the ranking announcement ceremony in episode 8, successfully entering the debut group.
@@skaa3936 Yes…the largest jump of all and without ever being there in any episode before that and with very little screen time along with Chaewon. That’s the whole point. That’s exactly how they were rigged.
@@Sogeking995 What is the evidence that you have to be in the top debut group at least once before the final round to become IZ*ONE? Is there a law that says it has to be that way?
@@skaa3936 No one said that. But you’re now suggesting they must have organically made it there, but you’re forgetting Mnet admitted they intentionally rigged out two much more popular contestants. Meaning they had to pull two people from the lower rankings. Which would explain two contestants with very little screen time and very low votes magically jumping 9 places on the last episode.

This is the most substantial reaction to Le Sserafim I have watched, and I couldn’t agree more to all your opinions about them.
I have so much to say, but I’m not as well-versed as you. But I’ll say this, Le Sserafim is my ult group because they’re stunning, talented, unique and most importantly HUMAN. They’re a group that shares their humanity through their music, narrative and content. That to me, made me naturally like them so much. I’ve never been a fan of a kpop group this much before! 😂 I’m glad I’m not the only one!
Also, thanks for telling us about ‘Dirty Realism’. I knew the storytelling in this trailer had a certain style but I couldn’t pinpoint it at all! Well now I know!

i'm korean and thera were also tons of people who were impressed by Yunjin's presence in the teaser. I saw many compliments saying her "COOL" "She gives breathes to that clothes" etc.
