You are one of the rare channels, one of the rare ones who are sooo underrated, I genuinely expected to see 100-500K subs and saw 7K, I was surprised. Keep on goin’ and you’ll see the light of stardom.
It was worth the repair. I drove & repaired trucks for 36 yrs. drove many trucks that had frames straighted & never had any problems& had been inspected many times & always passed.
First of all, I am not a master of re-bending like you. But, I know this. Every time I watch one of your videos, I learn something else. Keep'em comin.
Like you said, there are standards and tolerances. As long as it's straight and not compromised, I'd run it. People are too quick to throw things away these days. When I'm done with something ib try to find someone who can use it instead of just chucking it in the bin
Your explanation regarding relieving stress & fiber realignment was remarkably clear. Great, consise explanation of what you're doing when straightening frames.
2 years ago I broke the frame on one of my trucks, nothing bent just stress cracks (its a self loader so lots of focused stress on one area) anyway after a bit of panicking, talked to a buddy, turns out every one of his trucks has been shortened or extended in one way or another, finding a truck on the used market that hasn't had some form of serious frame repair is near impossible... anyhow bout 60 hours of labor later, frame sectioned, welded and sleaved, with a lot better cross members and bolt pattern then previously... better then ever.
Great videos. You have the style to have a TV show. I know not a lot of people are interested in seeing how the real world works. I would enjoy being in your shop to watch you work but I know my many questions would hold up your work. My dad used to do this at home on a much smaller scale. Car wheels, bumpers, bicycle frames , bent hinges. I learned a lot from watching and apply it in my work at home. Thanks heaps. Greetings from Melbourne Australia.
I've had frame rails straightened before, only once did I feel that it wasn't going to be as strong as it originally was, so I just added a little bit of strengthening to it. Chasing I welded up some gusseting and it's an extra plate and well ended up better than it was before I bought it.
Just wanted to leave a comment to help your visibility. Very entertaining and I love your work. Hope you get paid well I'm sure learning all that didn't come easy, or quick.
loving the videos. I just started driving larger trucks, im a fan of fixing it if its worth it. Good job sir keep doing what you do maybe my generation can learn something from you and realize things can be fixed instead of being thrown away. I see twisted trucks come thru work all the time, its quite funny what people will run with it being twisted to you know what. cheers Bendon keep bendin
With this videos people. Appreciate more our work. Cause there is no instructions or guides of how to. Actually we use our brains to know where and how either pull or push. Point down or up. And yes we do design our own hooks for special purposes
A 2022 Kenworth W990 dump truck with the small engine and a drop axle is 272k rn for commenters reference just brought one back from Baltimore. (Half the coal trucks we have have had their frames straightened once or twice, they fall over alot 😂)
I can imagine that there are some people that say they can straighten frames and I imagine there's people that have drove those trucks that supposedly the frames have been straightened out so they've had ridiculous experiences but I'll tell you if this guy straightens a frame right here you can guarantee that it's straight and if they really know what they're doing like he does it's going to be just as good if not better than what it was before the there's a difference between somebody that says they're a frame straightener and somebody that can actually do the job the right way and put it back exactly how it's supposed to
I came to the channel because of the shorts. And I'm glad to see you do longer video's as well. Subscribed ! Entertaining, and very informative. You sir, are a master of your trade.
I hope you have an apprentice or two, nothing grinds my gears more than seeing minor damaged cars, trucks, etc ground into scrap instead of being repaired.
Hello i have just subscribed to your channel found you on a short i do similar job to you and you can never stop learning love the show you have got to England good luck to 100000
If the truck is still serviceable, then why on earth would someone discard it over what, in the big picture, was a relatively minor repair. Keep those older rigs doin' what they do best. Oh yeah, hi from Oz.
For those people that won't have a truck with a straightened frame. How do you think the frame got manufactured in the first place? Just like any other kind of repair, it depends on the shop and mechanics doing the work.

Thank you Brendon! You rock!
This man knows his stuff
Hell yeah i can watch this all day. It’s like being at work but without broken things and customers calling every 15 minutes.
Yes worth it
nice work. not a lot of people still doing this kind of work. new trucks are junk anyway always worth saving a older truck when possible imo.
The irony being in 2007 this was a “piece of junk new truck” not like they used to make ‘em in the 80s!
😂😂😂😂
Your personality and knowledge are unmatched. Keep up the good work and love the pointer.
