Howard University Journalist Asks Question During White House Briefing

Howard University senior capstone broadcast journalist, Trinity Webster-Bass, an Annenberg Honors scholar, attended a White House briefing on Friday, September 13, 2024. Webster-Bass, also a 2024 White House Correspondents' Association (WHCA) awards scholarship recipient, asked Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre about the catalyst behind the first ever brunch celebrating Black excellence and the contributions of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), which was held that dayon the White House lawn.
