Awesome! This is my tank! Thanks so much for displaying this. Looking forward to seeing it and excited to hear the feedback. Appreciate it!
What light are you running on your fuge?
@@tonyvicere3977 36 watt reefbrite that they put on geo sumps. i just contacted them to get one for mine.
@@JCSReefing I think this strip light is great for a rectangular fuge like mine. Glad I saw this before buying a Kessil that will spill light all over the sump. Seems like this light stays where you want it to.
@@timothydillard9507 agreed!
Tank looks great. Do you know the dimensions of it?
I love these videos. I would love to see my tank on here too bad it split a seam. Keep them coming.
Merci pour ta vidéo !!!👍👍👍
Love your videos, thank you.
Great vid.
So. What's a stick. Gregorian. Zamanis. Candy canes. Mani. Birds nest. Hammers. Torches.
Is there a vid or glossary anywhere.
I'm new and it's kinda putting me off corals.
Sticks are mostly referred to as acropora.”SPS” Then rest can be looked up. Zoanthids or zoas belong to the Family Zoanthidae. Lots of info there when it comes to button polyps. Palythoa, Protopalythoa, Zoanthus etc. Hammers, Torches, Frog Spawn are different species of Euphyllia. Candy canes or Trumpet corals are Caulastrea furcata/ Caulastrea curvata. Birds nest coral is Seriatopora hystrix. Lots of slang or common names when it comes to corals. Blastos = Blastomussa. Lobos = Lobophyllia. Dendros = Dendrophyllia. Duncan’s = Duncanopsammia. Lots of information out there. After you keep coral for long enough you just figure it out. Go to a vendor website to get an idea of different common names linked to scientific names. Sometimes they get it wrong though. uniquecorals.com/
@@JCTReefer Awesome. This has put me on the right road. Agree, need to start looking and keeping. Knowledge is normally retained through practical means rather than just reading alone.
You're a star. Really appreciate it. Take care.
@ JCS Reefing - great looking setup! Do you find the Kenya trees grow everywhere? I have some and they pop up all over the place
Haha, I have been trying to get rid of them for 6 months. always seem to pop up later. lol Appreciate it!
@JCS Reefing are those fittings painted
yes.
You said Cornhole . He's Hee
I dnt knw why he acts like hes guessing whats in the tank or sump....obviously he watches the videos beforehand.
Rafeek Karamat The whole point of RUclips “reacts” videos are that we are seeing their first reaction to the video. Likely they’ve been screened by someone else and he hasn’t seen them.
Correct.
@@kurtisf3366 But why spend so much time guessing wtf is going on? The person filming is obviously talking and explaining their setup...why can't we watch their explanation and then have this guy stop the scene and react or give suggestions.
Adam H. This is pretty much the format of every other RUclips “reacts” series I’ve ever seen. I don’t think the person behind the camera is supposed to be explaining their setup when they’re shooting the video.
Kurtis F I think the difference is how critical this guy is. “Remove this, remove that”. Hates mushrooms, Xenia, GSP...it’s like...not everybody wants a tank full of stationary sticks dude.
Nice setup but think maybe he might be new to the hobby. Placement and selection of corals are very questionable at best. Especially with all that money in equipment I thought there would be atleast some stick or more color. Also fish already out growing the tank.
Not new to the hobby but appreciate the feedback
@jcs reefing I think its a nice tank. Everyone has their own style and personality in their tank which is why I enjoy the hobby.
@@onemansgarage9658 agree! thanks so much
One Man's Garage absolutely! Ty
