The "your mind is making you sick" line is because Ren went to many doctors and was told his illness was all in his head. He was given psych meds he didn't need that really messed with him. The whole time he was suffering with undiagnosed Lyme disease.

Dude literally does it all. All his own beats, mixing, producing, art direction, video directing, plays several instruments can RAP RAP and SING SING dude is a cheat code a genius of his time and just doing stuff on a level many not only aren’t on, but can’t even comprehend. Different. Fresh. 1 of 1.
Doesn't make all his own beats tho for every song. Member there's samples in alot of his songs aswell - like this song and that chanting/singing bit is sampled from Gank - resurrection and even ocean has a sample in it. No doubting the kid is impressive tho.
He makes his own beats. He does absolutely everything, with Sam behind the camera he also has ADHD. He's definitely figured out how to hyper focus.
Figuring out to focus hyperfixation in adhd without it being a detriment to yourself is an amazing accomplishment. Been trying too find that balance for 20 years

Not his own beat in every song tho. Even this song has a sample that takes up a good chunk of it. 'gank - resurrection' is the chanting/singing bit that's at the start.(which is also a sample)

According to the Sick Boi video description, Ren didn't make the beat. Credit for the music production is attributed to kujobeats, with mixing/mastering by Frederick Moller.
Brian - no he didn't. See the amount of people that say he makes his own beats in all his songs just doesn't know his music well. This song has a large sample from it. Gank - resurrection is the chanting and signing bit. And ocean has a sample in it. - apologies to the hosts for this msg.

Ren does 98% of his own production...minus the retakes. And he is a genuis. As well as you guys. Keep grinding. I'm sayin it now ya will hit at least 80k by years end if you keep this grind and quality where it is and stick with the independent artists...don't sleep on Upchurch, Adam Calhoun, Brodnax, Bryson Gray, or Token and Dax either💯🔥🤘
The lyme disease he was finally diagnosed with had made him actually have hallucinations and every Dr he went to said it was this, that... Ren produces ALL of his own music!!!

I've seen friends and reactors alike go through Ren's catalog and just get more and more impressed the deeper you dive in - unlike with most music these days - it gets better and better. You guys barely scratched the surface - still haven't seen Genesis (both versions, life and one take video are amazing) Loosing it (Fisher retake) Money Game 1 and 2, Power, Hold On, Humble, Ocean, Life is Funny, Love Music 2 and 3, Blind Eyed with Sam Tompkins (live version, MC Session is personal favorite as well as ft. angry car park attendant - you will definitely see many prompts to react to this one). And then of course his former band of rock star players the Big Push. This one man is magnet for extraordinary talent in addition to his own genius - haven't seen anything like it! Enjoy the Ride in the Reniverse!

You can watch the Justin Hawkins interview of Ren. I know Knox Hill is dropping a Ren interview Monday. Ren is actually SICK and battled very hard with Lyme Disease like he said he was doing some weird out there stuff to fix himself when the doctors basically laughed at him and kept telling him it's in his head. Sick boi covers a lot of what he went though.
Ren has much more layers than an onions ! you should check the Animal Flow, the Illiest, Hunger, Genesis What you want, the Trilogy, and the stuff with his band the Big Push the man is a legend in the making !!! the rabbut hole is deep and rich …

Great reaction but it goes deeper. He was misdiagnosed for years where doctors thought it was nothing and they just got them meds that only messed him more. He has Lymes disease so it is all talking from his experiences

Ren Kept telling every body but they ignored him, telling him it was in his mind.Around 9years later he was finally diagnosed with Lyme Disease. It can be cured if detected early. Over the years it's ravaged his body, Organ's joints, Brain disease. He started Stem cell treatment which saved his life, he finally could perform again. In the 1st verse, he relates to this. Sick Boi, Bitten by a Tick Boi. Stem Cell Poster Boi. He's continuing the treatment, Ren goes over to Canada for around 6months a year for treatment. He's there now and improving all the time.

The flip ren does right at the end of the song is dramatic and I have yet to hear a reaction that addresses it.
So does Ren feel that as humanity tends to destroy resources for short-term profit, he is pushing himself too hard to reach the pinnacle of success???
In both cases resources should be carefully managed to allow for maximum utilization and long-term sustainability.
I think it's less about pushing himself to hard to reach the pinnacle of success and more about acknowledging, as he does in Money Game 1/2, that we are ALL a part of this system. We all contribute in some way, whether intentionally or not. He obviously makes music because he loves it BUT even he is commondifying his gift.

She was definitely playing a bad person you don't act so cold to people suffering. And it wasn't even true he was sick from lime disease and asking a person that has no clarity is insane. From research the first question should have been to Ren let's test you for lime disease.
