A story of how God used "Rescue" to get me through: Oct. 22, 2019, I woke up to an email from our superintendent saying that two of our high school students had been in an accident the night before. Sadly, one of the boys died. He had been my student the year before, and I was in shock and couldn't stop weeping. On my drive to work that morning, I turned on my car, which had the local Christian station playing, and "Rescue" came on. As I drove to the school, grieving and weeping, the Lord spoke to me that he knew my pain, and the pain all of my students were going through at this loss. He gave me strength through the message in this song to be there to support my students that day.
In 2009 October it was my senior year an my buddy in my class was driving to school an the car flipped into the creek my friend didnt make it. You're not alone ! The song is great , what an effect on Gods people!

When you feel like ending it all, pray and just pour out everything you feel to the Lord - everything you have. Cry out to him that you need help and peace and strength when you feel like ending it all. He will always help you. And know that he is there even when you don't feel him! For me, it’s a message to my younger self. It’s confirmation that I was not born to just die. It confirms that I am to serve as an example that growing up in a toxic family and toxic community is not a death sentence. It confirms that I can thrive as someone with a strong soul, and those who tried to bring me down and repent not will one day pay the price before God and I only need to live my best life to triumph over them morally. Thank you Heavenly Father for letting me live.
“Rescue” help me through my lowest points in life which is weird considering the fact I am only 12 years old but I remember one time on my to church I was asked to sing and I didn’t know what song to sing but then this song came on the radio and I felt the Holy Spirit there in the car and I knew that I need to sing this song and I did and I will never that moment. “This Girl” and “ Love like this” have also helped me you have truly been a n inspiration to me please keep writing music. This song gave me so much clarity when I was going through Radiation treatments. It gave me clarity as to who was helping me get though the worst time of my life. My husband, my babies, friends and family. It made me realize that I did have a great support system who did come find me in my darkness and held me until it was over. Thank you Lauren for that.

I got to hear you sing it live in Hershey PA in Nov 2021. I don't remember when I first heard it but Klove played it often in the spring of 2020 while I was taking care of my husband who was dealing with a rare disease. Our marriage was bumpy. My husband died but later that year God had rescued me. I am a worship dancer & thought one of your songs, maybe Rescue may be my song to share. I even took notes of other possible songs that you sang in Nov but Rescue is the one I will be dancing in a wk.
This song spoke to me in such a strong way that when my mother passed after months of suffering and wanting to go home and be with the Lord I knew He rescued her and p played this at her graveside. When I hear it now it brings me gut wrenching tears knowing how good God is. He never leaves is not forsakes Us. In the darkest hour there He is.

I am blessed that I am able to listen to Christian music all day at my job. It plays in the background while I cook. I had heard this song several times and thought it was nice. God rescues us. Cool. Everyone knows that. But then I started thinking about God sending an army. Seriously. God doesn't send armies after us. And then I heard the whisper in my heart: What about your church? WOW! Brought me to my knees! My church did rescue me. They are a new church. Only 2 years. Their first service was in September 2018 and I started going in October. So yes, God does send armies to rescue us. Thank-you so much for this song. Everytime I hear it I give thanks to God for my church and for you. God bless you!

Absolutely love this song! In my darkest time of my life, this song came to me like fresh air from Heaven. I was recovering from stroke and i was feeling terrible in every way. I found peace in your music. I also found my healer Jesus Christ. I literally felt like God forgot about me because all at once the evil one attacked my life. I suffered so much and lost a lot that year I couldn’t understand why the Lord allowed everything I went through. **Lauren** Rescue meant SO MUCH to me in 2018 because my son was having seizures that year, increasing more and more as the year went on. He was having horrible side effects to ALL the medication we tried. We finally had to talk to a brain surgeon about options for surgery. My son was only 10. Thank God, we finally found one medicine that stopped his seizures in December, after a year of over 50 seizures! Your music was such and encouragement to keep the faith and look to God. I thank you so much 💜💜💜💜

My daughter connected me with Rescue. I had shared on fb the multiple health issues that one of our kitties endures (IBD, Lymphoma, Diabetes). Twice daily meds, injections, supplements, the ups and downs of his diseases, and my promise to never give up on him. Never. To be strong when he can't, to always tell him he's loved, to carry him when he's tired. My daughter shared your song with me then and said our love for our sweet guy reminds her of this song, Rescue. I listen to it very often, mostly to help me when I'm tired. So I can find the resolve to be his shelter, his armor. Some day he's going to tell me he's got nothing left, and my heart will be broken. He's worth every second.

There are non-Christians all over the place who wear crosses -- doesn't make them Christians. And the book of Esther in the Bible doesn't even mention God once. But you know who was behind the story, you know He is in all of it, mentioned or not. Same with this song. Judging people in this way never attracts anyone to Jesus. But loving them, and being willing to see Him at work behind the scenes, will.

I just adore you. Your music has literally saved me in numerous occasions and it really crossed over the boundary of hard to respond to stories I've heard. Some times the stories people have shared, the testamonies, are so painful that to respond in words sometimes gets me choked up. Sometimes it's easier to just communicate back with a song. I've used yours many times.

I never listened to Christian music until I was in rehab at the ARC salvation army. I play a little guitar and they had a worship team,during covid they would only allow one performer..and I had to do the song solo for church,I was so nervous and full of self doubt. But while doing the song, maybe about half way,the rest of the men in the program joined in with me...it was quite powerful and reminded me..we are never alone..the song holds such a resonating place in my heart now..God never leaves us and will never stop fighting for us...so beautiful..thank you so much..your music is living prayer.

Rescue used to make me cry and every time I heard it and felt it down / when I was dealing with some trauma, I remembered that GOD was always there for me.

It was like this in a different interview where she did not even wanna be considered a christian artist, God will bring down all that aren't thankful and doesnt give credit where it's due and that's to him. He brings up kings and tears them down.
She may not be a Christ follower, but I'd not go so far as to say she's evil. True, a lot of her followers think she is a Christian; but that would just be knowing your market. The thing is once I realized that she's not what she seems, I see a hypocrite. A performer with a facade of a sweet pure godly woman.

For me, it’s a message to my younger self. It’s confirmation that I was not born to just die. It confirms that I am to serve as an example that growing up in a toxic family and toxic community is not a death sentence. It confirms that I can thrive as someone with a strong soul, and those who tried to bring me down and repent not will one day pay the price before God and I only need to live my best life to triumph over them morally.

This song gave me so much clarity when I was going through Radiation treatments. It gave me clarity as to who was helping me get though the worst time of my life. I got to hear you sing it live in Hershey PA in Nov 2021. I don't remember when I first heard it but Klove played it often in the spring of 2020 while I was taking care of my husband who was dealing with a rare disease. Our marriage was bumpy. My husband died but later that year God had rescued me. I am a worship dancer & thought one of your songs, maybe Rescue may be my song to share. I even took notes of other possible songs that you sang in Nov but Rescue is the one I will be dancing in a wk.
This song spoke to me in such a strong way that when my mother passed after months of suffering and wanting to go home and be with the Lord I knew He rescued her and p played this at her graveside. When I hear it now it brings me gut wrenching tears knowing how good God is. He never leaves is not forsakes Us.

I am blessed that I am able to listen to Christian music all day at my job. It plays in the background while I cook. I had heard this song several times and thought it was nice. God rescues us. Cool. Everyone knows that. But then I started thinking about God sending an army. Seriously. God doesn't send armies after us. And then I heard the whisper in my heart: What about your church? WOW! Brought me to my knees! My church did rescue me. They are a new church. Only 2 years. Their first service was in September 2018 and I started going in October. So yes, God does send armies to rescue us.

**Lauren** Rescue meant SO MUCH to me in 2018 because my son was having seizures that year, increasing more and more as the year went on. He was having horrible side effects to ALL the medication we tried. We finally had to talk to a brain surgeon about options for surgery. My son was only 10. Thank God, we finally found one medicine that stopped his seizures in December, after a year of over 50 seizures! Your music was such and encouragement to keep the faith and look to God. I thank you so much 💜💜💜💜

My daughter connected me with Rescue. I had shared on fb the multiple health issues that one of our kitties endures (IBD, Lymphoma, Diabetes). Twice daily meds, injections, supplements, the ups and downs of his diseases, and my promise to never give up on him. Never. To be strong when he can't, to always tell him he's loved, to carry him when he's tired. My daughter shared your song with me then and said our love for our sweet guy reminds her of this song, Rescue. I listen to it very often, mostly to help me when I'm tired. So I can find the resolve to be his shelter, his armor. Some day he's going to tell me he's got nothing left, and my heart will be broken. He's worth every second.

I just adore you. Your music has literally saved me in numerous occasions and it really crossed over the boundary of hard to respond to stories I've heard. Some times the stories people have shared, the testamonies, are so painful that to respond in words sometimes gets me choked up. Sometimes it's easier to just communicate back with a song. I never listened to Christian music until I was in rehab at the ARC salvation army. I play a little guitar and they had a worship team,during covid they would only allow one performer..and I had to do the song solo for church,I was so nervous and full of self doubt. But while doing the song, maybe about half way,the rest of the men in the program joined in with me...it was quite powerful and reminded me..we are never alone..the song holds such a resonating place in my heart now..God never leaves us and will never stop fighting for us...so beautiful..thank you so much..your music is living prayer.

She may not be a Christ follower, but I'd not go so far as to say she's evil. True, a lot of her followers think she is a Christian; but that would just be knowing your market. The thing is once I realized that she's not what she seems, I see a hypocrite. A performer with a facade of a sweet pure godly woman.

I really don’t understand why she doesn’t glorify Jesus in any way in any of her recent interviews I’ve seen. She has a huge fan base that she can share Jesus with!!

Some believers mention Jesus all the time but in a more ridged rule following manner. I'd rather a Christian isn't much putting His name in their talk then one who is always talking about Him but with a wrong heart motive or unchristlike spirit. ..We shall know them by their fruit.
