I feel like there is so much I can learn from you about knitting stranded color work. Your comments about knitting the color work in those mittens too loosely sounds like something I would do, because I’m terrified I will knit it too tightly.

I hope you have better luck with your Mondim sock yarn than I did. It's the only pair of socks I've worn a hole through (2 holes actually) and I think I was pretty precious with those socks because I was worried about the no nylon content. I won't use it again without holding it with mohair. Good luck!

I have been working on my Northwoods V Neck while watching this, on the last few rows of the collar and then I'm DONE! (had to redo the collar unfortunately). Also, if you like dark roast coffee there's this really good one I've found at TJ Maxx/Marshalls called Joe Knows Coffee Tall Dark and Handsome, highly recommend
