What a beautiful, tender piece, Donna. You are doing some lovely collaborative work and it's special to hear that journey. Congratulations to you and Wolfgang both for this lovely collaboration.
Wow!! You made such a beautiful arrangement of this piece. It sounds so good on the piano. If you are playing it, this piece is really wonderful dreamy. I enjoyed listening to it a lot. 👏🎹🎶🌻 Warm regards, Wolfgang
Good reimagination of an old composition. As a non-pianist myself I'd like to ask, are there difficulties in such adaptation of a composition written for a string instrument? I know some guitarists who complain when adapting piano songs to guitar since the instrument has more limitations, and seemingly I'd tend to assume such difficulties would vanish in the opposite direction, but I'd rather not assume.
I don't see any real difficulties in adapting a string arrangement for piano. The piano has a large span of notes so there is no instrument score that cannot be transcribed to a piano score, although it may sound very different in applications. Thanks for you thoughtful question and comments!
