I had a couple of pontiacs from the 90’s and loved them, but I remember how auto journalists would criticize Pontiac for plastic body cladding and wheel flares. Now they are used everywhere and are often called “wide body”. It always did look good, only now it’s cool.
This is literally the perfect vehicle. Everything you need. Best of all worlds.

I'll add the Whipple on my 2019 XLT, add some suspension, and save myself 40k. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice truck, but it's worth a 1/4 price of my home.

Can this vehicle be retrofitted with the 2021 infotainment system? How much would it cost to put brimbo brakes on this? At this price point some things should be a given but obviously that's not the case. I don't want to wait for March 2021 for the release of the new styling but I love the new larger screen.

I really really wish they would add paddle shifters. Especially since it's 10 speed.
Plus much larger brakes. I have a lightning and brake fade stinks. This truck is much heavier looking and the puny brakes can't be enough.
Also wished they would do like the lightning and get the side exit exhausts.
Lastly, those wheels are horrendous.
Since the new F150 is about to come out, I hope they do this same package with the new model F150.
Please please Shelby look at these changes or at least make options available. If you do I'm coming down to buy.

Guys, these are built by Tuscany, hence the cheap caliper covers!!! NO performance brakes at this price no excuse! Also, same exact truck as the 4x4 version but $100k you might as well get a new GT500 or used GT350 far better for the money

I'm sure there is people bitching about the price but a lot of people can afford this truck Remember it smiles per thousand dollars..if you can afford this truck you really don't care about mpg but if you are light on the throttle I'm sure you can get in the high teens remember this truck has 770 horses power.

Can this be had in a Regular Cab ?
I have tried to get myself to like Extended or Crew Cab Trucks,I even had an insurance co. give me a Crew Cab for almost 2 months ,I walked away liking them even less, they don't look or feel like a pickup to me,(They are like a SUV with a little box on the back ) I've yet to see one that I think looks good, there is no sportiness look what so ever to them, (no matter how many scoops, badges and name plates ) It's a 6500 lbish 4 door Land Barge.
I love that they are adding big power to some of these trucks now, I am a truck guy and also a Muscle Car Nut/Horsepower Junkie, but these giant 4 door grocery getters do nothing for me, I like that they are offering this big power version but If they were to offer this in a Regular Cab with choices of long and short bed and 2 or 4 wheel drive ,I'd be interested as I'm sure a lot of other people would be too.
Imagine what this set up would be like in a much lighter, sportier, Long or short bed regular cab offered in 2 or 4 wheel drive, and it would be more affordable too because a regular cab is usually thousands of dollars less.
I'll take 1 Super Snake Regular Cab, Short bed (or long), 4x4 (for much needed traction ) in Sublime green, Please.

Why can you not use cruise control during the break in period? I’ve absolutely been using cruise control. So what have I screwed up? LOL
U want to change the rpms during break in so you don’t put grooves in the piston walls. Keep changing speeds and obviously rpms.

Seems that's where most of the money you spend goes to badges and stickers. Their Roush Nitemare is not worth the money for only 650 hp.
