      i did sometime back. very heartwarming. how the father took her up a tree to sleep. and in the morning she lookd for him but he was sleeping below the tree. he was too heavy for the treetop bed. the mother ran off with another male .. .during a raid. but she later returns with antoher baby. this baby is safe. the male however was so kind . he took the runawawy motehr back..very unusual.

      Of course the fingers are going to look similar to ours. We share 97.8% of the same genetic makeup. Forget about those religious books and what they have to say. The fact is way better than fiction.

      Actually, we share 98,4% of our genetic structure with bonobos (aka. "pygmy chimpanzees"), the closest species to human.

    Is that normal, for a female gorilla to abandon her mate and her offspring for another male? I understand switching males, but why she allowed to be parted from her kid?

      the other male attacked the troupe and she went with tht male. why ? who knows. But in the documentary , it showed she returned later with a new baby. And this male accepted her back. isnt that amazing?
