I don't like how they're naming some of the tricks. Nollie cabs or nollie half cabs aren't real. Cabs are only fakie. On a fakie bigger flip they call it a half cab 540 flip. The instant replays I'm sure pisses all the pros off. I still like all the skating though. And I'll still watch it

Seriously if all of the people in this comment section stopped getting so but hurt about ESPN doing this and actually payed attention to the game of skate they might actually see how good of a game it was, who really cares if ESPN hosts this it helps the sport grow by bringing it to a larger audience, I've never seen a community so against its sports own growth, yeah it will change skateboarding just like street league has, but In order to grow and evolve change has to happen, seems like no one is willing to accept that fact. And to those complaining about the commentators, sure they weren't the best but they most certainly weren't the worst, how else would those people In the crowd have an idea of what's going on if they don't know skateboarding?

We're against division not our growth. We grow together in the streets and in the parks with each other, no one tells us what to do that's the beauty and good games of skate happen all the time when the camera isn't rolling. It's not about competition or offense and defense, we don't battle each other we ride with each other. it's about pushing each other to be better people, cohesion. Trying to treat skateboarding like football is bullshit. It's not ESPN, it's the money makers trying to poison what skateboarding is. They have no idea what skateboarding means. And it's not the ref, berrics had a ref.

I said this in the past when I first saw this- but I feel like if they put some Ramps up to have a nicer flow this would’ve been so much better… then they could added a larger stand for all the people watching on the vertical side of the playing field
