Dirty Dom isn’t popping numbers for NXT any more

The ratings and viewership data are in for the Dec. 5 edition of WWE NXT.
According to Wrestlenomics, the episode’s total viewership was 626,000 and it did a 0.19 rating among 18-49 year olds. The overall audience number is down from the Tuesday before, while the demo is up a tick.
WWE & USA Network had some decent competition on that night - namely in the form of the NBA In-Season Tournament quarterfinals. Per SportsMediaWatch, the New York/Milwaukee game that aired opposite NXT had 1.7 million viewers and a .60 rating. Overall though, the show just seems to be settling back into the range it operates in when major main roster stars aren’t making appearances or involved in angles (no offense to Dirty Dom Mysterio, but he’s been North American champ for so long his presence no longer feels out of the ordinary). Combine that with the usual end of the year downturn/holiday season distractions, and you get numbers like these.
