Rather than the Elite, I'm more interested to see what they do with the Pro 4. I feel like a lot of people agree that they nailed the three. I hope they can find subtle ways to improve without "fixing" what isn't broken.
There will be a speed & pro 4. Was invited to a Saucony Demo Event and we were told that it won't release until April 2024. They've slowed down their releases in order to completely revamp shoes instead of just tweaking the upper sole. Biggest change I've seen is that there will be an internal layer of PwrRUNHG in addition to the visible PwrRUNPB. The plates of the speed & pro 4 will stay the same as the previous gen (Speed & Pro 3) & pro 4 will have a fully gusseted knit tongue. Hope that helps!
I'm new to "super shoes" and bought the Pro 3 based on recommendations. Got about 60 miles on them so far and also wore them for two half marathons recently and they were superb. So springy and really propel me forward with great energy return. These shoes always help me pick up the pace without exerting extra effort, like I'm less tired. Great investment. I have the Endorphin Speed 2 too which is widely loved by a lot of people but they are too narrow and unstable for me. The Pro 3 definitely feel more stable with a wider base.
Nice video. Very interesting to see how you envisage the future of the Endorphin line. I love the Pro 3 and am really looking forward to seeing the Pro 4. ✌🏼
My pro 3's have a little over 100 miles and I agree with everything you said, it even feels better! I also believe the speed 3 was a step back as a speed shoe and a step forward as a daily. So much to speculate on ! I hope the speed 4 had a carbon plate because I found the pro 3 to be very versatile, just like the first endorphin speed .
Just bought Pro 3s and I do use Novablast 3s for my everyday runs, so I guess now I have your recommended shoe rotation pairing that you mentioned in this video :D
I’m really glad to hear this! I just got a pair for Christmas (have not used them yet) and planning on putting a small amount of miles on them until Berlin Marathon in September.
@@kofuzi was the running near the toe area of the elite a drawback of those shoes (when you did that review…@runlikeheller said the same thing) or did it get better?
I could not agree more with all that you said Mike. Wow, I use the Novablast 3 for easy, recovery, Steazy, and some times Fartlek type runs but my go to racer is the Pro 3. I have used the Pro lineup since the first version. It just works and is so forgiving at the end of a marathon.
I think Saucony should just progress each on the track it currently places each model. 2 choices for marathon (Elite and Pro) 2 choices for sessions (speed and Kinvara Pro) and 2 for daily/easy (shift and triumph)
Such a fantastic shoe! IMO, anyone thinking/looking at the ASICS Superblast should really consider the Endo Pro 3. This shoe is just as versatile while also having too-tier racing chops.
Aside from the Nike Alphafly v1's, the Saucony Endorphin Pro3 deserves a double-up in this super-critical race shoe category, especially if there is a discount.

Good to know I'll get a couple of goal marathons out of the Pro 3s, before using them just for training. I bought mine in UK when they were discounted down to £125. Unfortunately, not at that price anymore, but still slightly reduced.
Yeah got the pink pair as it was the only colour in my size! As much as I don't like the colour, couldn't pass up at £125. Have these and the Adios Pro 3's.
I hope they continue Speed, Pro and Elite lineup. Speed 3 has moved a bit more to daily training vs Speed 2. Pro 3 is a great shoe for racing for mid-packers like me. I think Elite is too Elite for me to get additional benefits. Pro could be training shoe for those racing in Elite so it could serve both camps. If Saucony eliminates (as some comments suggest in this discussion) or substantially changes Speed or Pro, they might be making a mistake.
I completely agree. From reviews I gathered that the Elite is less forgiving and a bit stiffer. For me that would be too much. I use the Speed 2 and the Pro 3 currently but I have little interest in the Elite.
Picked up a pair at a discount and just ran a half marathon in them today. Didn't feel the upper, in fact I barely felt the shoe at all. Smashed my PB and ran 1:36:11. Which for me is very fast. My legs feel pretty good now, I think the shoe deserves a lot of credit for that because I tend to destroy my calves when I go fast. Love them so far.
The endorphin pro sticks around as the best value racer/workout shoe and the endorphin elite brings in some of the alphafly market for Saucony. That’s not to say that it’s their ideal use case or feel based comparison. I just think that is what will happen.
I'm hoping for something with Speed 3 midsole but Pro 3 upper. The Pro 3 still feels a bit firm to go the distance for us slower and heavier runners. Either soften the foam or make the plate less stiff. The adidas pro 3 certainly feels a little softer and better suited for me anyway.
@@Fozzee.1970 a little firmer/stiffer than I'd like. 220lbs and slow at the moment. I did like the super firm/stiff pro for up to half distance when I was 195 and faster.

I think its a plated series vs the none plated series. Plated series is elite for race 5k to half, pro for marathon and long run, speed for tempo and session training and the kinvara pro for daily. Non Plated is the Ride for daily, triumph for long, kinvara 14 for tempo/ session/ half marathon, sinister for 5k to 10k.
You've mentioned a number of shoes you would recommend for a full marathon, but what about a half? Would your suggestions be similar? Would love to hear your thoughts as I'm running my first one in April!
endorphin pro 2 is really nice for that distance. but overall, the list of shoes that work well for the marathon are pretty much all of the marathon shoes, except for a rare few, like maybe alphafly, superblast, and prime x.

Hi Kofuzi! Thank you for such a great review! What do you think about the sizing? I have the original endorphin speeds and love them. Do you think the sizing is the same? Also! Do you think these shoes will get my feet and legs through a 4 hour goal marathon? 😅😊 I know the longer one stays out there the more painful it is on the body. But you paced a 3:45 marathon for a friend I think I heard you say! And that gives me hope these shoes can withstand that length of time!

Hi everyone. I have slightly wider feet. I currently own the endorphin shift 3 in 8.5 which feels a bit snug, and the endorphin speed 3 in 8.5 too which fits perfectly. Now I want to order a pair of Pro 3s but I have read some people saying that it is better to size up half a size, but some others say it fits true to size. So I am not sure if I should go for a 9 or stick to my usual 8.5 (US). If there is anyone here who owns the endorphin 3 lineup and has slightly wider feet I would appreciate your comments please! I really liked how mine felt running. BUT... durability is really bad. At least on mine. The under sole is wearing out super fast. And before everyone says it is my running form, I do not have this issue on my Nike, Asics or Hoka shoes. I really like how they feel but not buying them again.
I agree I'm not getting the ever increasing slant in on the heel on the endorphin shoes. I had to take a heat gun to my speed 3 to peel off the rubber enforcement an inch or so from the top to relieve achilles rub/pressure. Much better shoe now!
@kofuzi thanks, I really want this shoe to be me race shoe but wonder if I should play it safe and go with the SC Elite in wide, but am I missing out on a better ride?
I found the Speed 3 to be best at VO2 Max effort, personally. and I don't like to use it as easy paces, but there's just so many people that tell me that that is exactly how they use it 🤷🏻♂️
@@kofuzi same here. I do believe the Speed 3 is the best shoe Saucony has in this moment (perfect all rounder) and I find it a shame to ruin it just to make us buy another "dedicated speed" shoe. For race day, ok, Pro 3 "for the win" (PB).
I've reached 500km wearing the Pro 2 and I've run 1K at the running track, after testing the Pro 3, just to see how they would have performed. Feel free to watch my video. Well, although they are still great in terms of how much the outsole is worn out, regarding performances, they lost a good 10 seconds per km. should i just get the 2s if i can pick up for $100 or these worth the extra $
it's a good deal, but I much prefer the 3 over the 2. I think it's a very big difference. whether it's worth it is more of a personal decision
I really liked how mine felt running. BUT... durability is really bad. At least on mine. The under sole is wearing out super fast. And before everyone says it is my running form, I do not have this issue on my Nike, Asics or Hoka shoes. I really like how they feel but not buying them again.
are you comparing racing shoes against other racing shoes? otherwise, it might be a bit of a lopsided comparison
This shoe felt great for me although the first few runs it tore up my achilles
I agree I'm not getting the ever increasing slant in on the heel on the endorphin shoes. I had to take a heat gun to my speed 3 to peel off the rubber enforcement an inch or so from the top to relieve achilles rub/pressure. Much better shoe now!
How does this compare to the Vaporfly?
I've heard it's way more stable which can help when your form goes south.
The Endorphin Pro 3 or the SuperComp Elite v3?
One has squish the other has bounce
@@kofuziI love me some bounce
Hoka rincon 3 or saucony shift 3..tank you
if you need stability, Shift. if you don't, Rincon
How does it compare to the kinvara pro?
Also did you ever run in the speed 3 ?

YWGO! 🎉
How is the toe box?? I have wide toes and extra large big toe.
I’d say it’s roomier than most racing toe boxes, but it’s not available in a wide
@kofuzi thanks, I really want this shoe to be me race shoe but wonder if I should play it safe and go with the SC Elite in wide, but am I missing out on a better ride?
i am a fore foot striker what should i wear help me guys

Endorphin elite is the new Endorphin pro + . Probably won’t see too many iterations
interesting
good for first time marathon ?
Finishing is a great result
You can get it in the UK £125 🙂
Puma deviate review?
It would be a shame to change the Speed the way you described it. Elite is too expensive and I do prefer the speed
The Pro 3 seems to be more bouncy and more forgiving, therefore I hope to reach the same distance I've got, using the Pro 2.
