yet again Yoongi left me speechless and showed me why he is my ultimate bias wrecker, also he showed me again why he is my all time number 1 favourite rapper in the entire music industry and that British and American rappers should follow his lead.also Yoongi and Jimin are the only members to have me breathless, and making me cry as well as shaking my head, im so hyped up that I so was not ready for this and even after a million times watching this Mv im still not ready and ever since listening to AustD's first mix tape I new I would never be the same also to me in my opinion (not hating on Eminem) but Yoongi is a way better rapper I just hope one day we get a collab between these 2 rappers. Also if you look closely you can see both Jin and JK in the mv
@SeptaSOAREous, thank you for reacting to “Daechwita “ ARMYs always have an interest in watching RUclips reactors to this particular music video. Because there’s so many different ways of explaining what exactly Suga means in the lyrics I myself could not figure everything out since I am not totally knowledgeable about historical reference in The Korea Josen period. I hope that both of you will do a informational video, a preference to bookish theories is much better than DKDK TV that’s my personal opinion neither one is wrong I’m not making that statement but when it comes to cultural references and specific lyrical breakdowns because theories tend to be a little more accurate. Hopefully you will do a reaction to the breakdown of Daechwita!?😊💜🙏🏼
I think car was to represent new Korea vs old Korea because the year of that car was probably significant in their history, it’s also an American car? There is an explanation video with all the historical references in DKDKTv YT channel. Thanks guys!
Sorry, but it is not true... Car is Hyundai Grandeur Azera, it is korean brand, and there is a meaning of this car, it was first car that was like for general public but was looked at like highend car more lux then cars before but still person from middle class could get. It was popular car and looked at something desirable, like in american movies guys have cool cars and they are more cool bc of this it was car like that. And now it is classic.
@@magdalenagabrowska8169 Ya I wasn’t sure, I was hoping someone would help me out. Thanks for the answer. It makes sense. I feel like it draws a comparison to the old and new. New Coming in to dismantle a mad King. I like DKDKTv’s take on it. I love that there is always so much to learn from all their music.
@@bluehourtarot yeah for sure MV can be seen in a lot of ways, hmm in "making of" video Suga said that he wanted symbol of moder times, so you are not wrong with your comment, bc that is why this car is there but they still choose interesting car that alone have interesting history 😉 (only wrong thing was car hehe) I think dkdktv explenation is very nice and all this references to korean history they talk about ahh great stuff, but I like also original Suga's story that he talked about, what he had in mind behind the story in video and why some stuff were there. Hmm also if you are interested there is on YT video that korean history teacher (if I remeber correctly) reacts to this MV it is great too, I really liked it, He dosen't talk much about lyrics but more about visual. There is also interesting aspect that I didn't see in popular explenation, that king couldn't have scars bc it was weaknes and would loss their godness like image... So in theory any version of Agust D should't never sit on throne. 🤔 There is also lyrics when he say "time is money, my time is worth more then that ", it is very simple translation that it is easy to understand, and it is acurate, but he actually dosen't say money he say gold but not the gold we think about like nuggets or rings etc, but more like something higher, it is actually word that dosen't have translation to english but something valuable and precious but at the same time priceless, the word is used to show how time is really important but for him it even more precious then this valued super thing. (like "han" in korean, you can't really translate it, Yoongi uses it in lyrics like at least 3 songs I remember having it, but translators choose different words for it, bc it is hard to explain)
@@magdalenagabrowska8169 Wow, I love all that info. I watched the behind the scenes, but it was at the beginning of my journey so I would not have picked up on everything. Languages are fascinating. Tks again, Linda
Have you been recommended Spring Day (along with the video explanation) yet? You absolutely want this on your calendar. It's one of their most important pieces of work.
I say you should watch video "shooting of Deachwita" Suga there talk about place and meaning of song etc. (but place is a replica of real korean village from Joseon dynasty, it is set offten use in korean dramas, movies, etc, but also you can visit it) Also he talls why he wanted car haha something about modern symbol and to suprise heh. So I saw people say to watch explenation but honestly I would watch first "making of MV Deachwita" (it is on BTS chanel) where Suga talks himself about this song and all . (also bc most explenation come out before this video by Suga) So 1: thing is about poor to king like you said, and if you look more he killed king but king didn't had following really, people around him were on ground and he was even steping on them but they were only there, but with bottom class black haired Agust D they moved their heads with him and even person that was there to cut his head, freed him so he could kill king. So yeah who was really the king in the end? But 2: is story about Agust D not BTS Suga (it hard to get if you don't know his music as Agust D) ... Hmm he said that Agust D that made 2016 mixtape was very angry, arrogant, every were mentaly and a lot lot lot more things a little like king in here (and he was blond in 2016 when promoted first mixtape) and now he is older, more wise, He knows himself more, and he isn't that angry anymore, and he wants to kill that old version of himself and puts his feet on ground again (so black hair is him now). And 3: it would be all industry aspect and BTS that grow so much but come from soo little. Etc. (this is part what most explenation videos talk about)
I really enjoy your honest and authentic reactions to our beloved members of BTS. Any member of the BTS Army, can sense a genuine reaction compared to reactors that watch a BTS mv for the views. Armies will continue to be loyal and subscribe to a RUclips channel that display a genuine love and respect for BTS. August D’s rapping style is fire and his swiftly changing cadences and flows are insane. You both seem to instinctively know what the song is about. It is him fighting with himself which displays a duality throughout the mv. In an explanation video, Suga aka August D, spoke about how he used to think that he needed fame and riches to be happy or know that he succeeded. Once he achieved that “kingly self”, he realized that he had no longer had anything to prove. He is also rapping and clapping back at the far less skilled rappers (the pill poppers) who think of themselves too highly. These rappers do not really contribute anything positive to this genre of music. The song is August D’s journey from rag to riches, and then to complete acceptance of himself. It is beautiful knowing that, our Min Yoongi, after reaching the pinnacle of possible achievement, has held on to his humanity and has remained humble. (The goal of each member has been to remain humble). After accepting himself, and acknowledging that he wants to remain humble, August D is ready to “kill” his kingly persona. I have a Masters degree in clinical psychology and this is a beautiful illustration of personal growth and development. In order to grow, we need to release those areas in our life that are impeding growth and healing. The gardener prunes and clips off unhealthy parts of a vine or branches to promote growth. In the same way, personal growth only happens after trimming away those faulty perceptions of ourself. In this way, one can now have room for new blossoms and acceptance and appreciation for what it means to love oneself. BTS covered learning this in their 3 Album Love Yourself/ Speak Yourself series. I’ll look forward to more of your reactions.
Guys, I donated directly to the kitchen. For some reason, I can't make paypal to work on your link 😣 and thank you for letting us know about kitchen center 👍
When this dropped, so many felt targetted, for real. Hahahaha! He was not targeting a specific person but as he said, if the shoe fits then... well. And that is why he's the King, he's the Boss. A to the G to the U to the STD. LMAO. Ok I'll stop. 😂💜
Guys, if you loved this, you really need to watch Agust D - “Agust D”! It’s Yoongi at his brilliant best. Cadence, flow and s**t talking at its very best! You’ll love it!!
Take a peek back at 13:54 - the 2 that bumped into Suga/Agust D are Jin and Jungkook. OH, nevermind, I see you put "The Boys" as an overlay. lol There are some behind the scenes about this, I think on BangtanTV channel. Also, if you want to see a somewhat funny version of this, they performed it Live at 2021 Sowoozoo during the pandemic and All 7 were in it. :) Last there is an explanation video; I am not positive but that may be on DKDKTV channel.
💯 this! There're actually two explanation videos, one by DKDKTV and one by Bookish Theories. The latter comes closest to what Yoongi himself has said about it but they're both good. And the OT7 performance is absolutely hilarious. 😂💜
riches can also make you egocentric he's killing the version of himself that only cared about that the 'mad king' drunk with power but overtime he found himself and is taking claim of who he really is
I don't think this song comment on B-free since that happened years ago and some of the cyphers did (but maybe this song does that too idk lol) BTS has so many haters, pissed and jealous rappers and fake people around. Fun fact: Yoongi did a live talking about the behind the scenes of his 'D2' mixtape. When he was explaining Daechwita, he said "You know I put traps in my song. Let me give you an example. If you find a cockroach at home, you put a trap. Like pesticide. Then, the cockroaches will come and die there. "Daechwita" is the pesticide. *laughs* "What do you think?" and "Daechwita" are the traps. I think for a few people never learn. I don't understand...they never missed the traps and I will just laugh at them." WHAT A KING 👑💜 So yeah, sometimes their songs are not speaking directly about someone but those haters always ended up getting burned and exposing themselves.💀
Please react to your song Agust d you will not regret seeing another aspect of him as a composer, the direction of the video, photography you will like
I mean you got there the lower class Suga wearing modern clothing, not only the car. It is actually meant to mean something about the time, like old and new.
Soo about who is he talking about ... Suga actually said that he didn't have anyone in mind, but if You feel it us about you it is your problem not his.... Haha So he simply say it to everyone that feel insulted 😁 (And Bfree situation was like 5 years or more befor this song was made sooo I don't thing it has anything to do with it, bc I know Suga isn't person to let things like this sit that long... He said what he wanted in older songs and for sure win) Ahh I'm sure when he was writing this he had some people in mind that fuel this lyrics but he never tell this things. There was only 2 times when lyrics were easly to guess that he was talking about Bfree it was songs "Cypher pt 2" and "Agust D". But never again. He always tell tak he dosen't have a person in mind but takes feelings he had /has, or thoughts and use it, then pulls shots at one person.
Driving into a place of royalty in a dated Hyundai wherein the king will chop off your head for being arrogant where he where reigns to me is an allegory for coming up from nothing and self-confidently trying to flaunt your ability to do what you want to opinionated sunbaes in the domain they have been ruling the show. The lyrics which follow are both braggadocious and demeaning.
@Eric Weinman, I also would like to add to your comment, it was during the Josen period , King Yeongjo put his son Crown Prince Sado in a Rice chest. During that time. Mental illness was not recognized and his father decided to leave him in the rice chest for eight days with no food and water therefore he perished and died but here in the Daechwita lyrics , Yoongi is stating,” Putting his past in the rice chest.” he’s talking about putting his own feelings of regrets and his mental stress which included his social phobia and OCD and depression he is moving on from his past and he’s putting it in the rice chest. Moreover he is explaining that none of those particular aggressive lyrics have really anything to do with any specific person. In the making of the Daechwita music video he did discuss briefly that there is no one particularly that this is triggering but he says if you feel it is you then that’s on you !” This has nothing to do with what he said in the lyrics so technically it has no referencing on any particular person. Some BTS ARMYs May think that it’s referencing , “ B-FREE and the other rappers in that particular podcast where Suga & RM were invited. It would be really helpful if RUclips channels who do reaction to this particular music video would actually do an informational video, I personally prefer” Bookish Theories “. DKDKTV may have a different point of view and it’s not saying that it’s wrong but I think that bookish theories is much better inbexplaining the historical and the different wordplay that Augst D is using. I apologize for the long comment I just wanted to add some interesting points to your comment😊 be well 💜

yet again Yoongi left me speechless and showed me why he is my ultimate bias wrecker, also he showed me again why he is my all time number 1 favourite rapper in the entire music industry and that British and American rappers should follow his lead.also Yoongi and Jimin are the only members to have me breathless, and making me cry as well as shaking my head, im so hyped up that I so was not ready for this and even after a million times watching this Mv im still not ready and ever since listening to AustD's first mix tape I new I would never be the same also to me in my opinion (not hating on Eminem) but Yoongi is a way better rapper I just hope one day we get a collab between these 2 rappers.
@@bluehourtarot yeah for sure MV can be seen in a lot of ways, hmm in "making of" video Suga said that he wanted symbol of moder times, so you are not wrong with your comment, bc that is why this car is there but they still choose interesting car that alone have interesting history 😉
(only wrong thing was car hehe)
I think dkdktv explenation is very nice and all this references to korean history they talk about ahh great stuff, but I like also original Suga's story that he talked about, what he had in mind behind the story in video and why some stuff were there.
There is also lyrics when he say "time is money, my time is worth more then that ", it is very simple translation that it is easy to understand, and it is acurate, but he actually dosen't say money he say gold but not the gold we think about like nuggets or rings etc, but more like something higher, it is actually word that dosen't have translation to english but something valuable and precious but at the same time priceless, the word is used to show how time is really important but for him it even more precious then this valued super thing.
(but place is a replica of real korean village from Joseon dynasty, it is set offten use in korean dramas, movies, etc, but also you can visit it)
Also he talls why he wanted car haha something about modern symbol and to suprise heh.
So I saw people say to watch explenation but honestly I would watch first "making of MV Deachwita" (it is on BTS chanel) where Suga talks himself about this song and all .
(also bc most explenation come out before this video by Suga)
So 1: thing is about poor to king like you said, and if you look more he killed king but king didn't had following really, people around him were on ground and he was even steping on them but they were only there, but with bottom class black haired Agust D they moved their heads with him and even person that was there to cut his head, freed him so he could kill king.
BTS covered learning this in their 3 Album
Love Yourself/ Speak Yourself series.
I’ll look forward to more of your reactions.
Guys, I donated directly to the kitchen. For some reason, I can't make paypal to work on your link 😣 and thank you for letting us know about kitchen center 👍
You are amazing!!!!! 💜💜💜💜💜🦖🥰
its like past Suga against the modern Suga.hence car for modern Suga
When this dropped, so many felt targetted, for real. Hahahaha! He was not targeting a specific person but as he said, if the shoe fits then... well. And that is why he's the King, he's the Boss. A to the G to the U to the STD. LMAO. Ok I'll stop. 😂💜
D-2 in it's entirety is *chefs kiss*
Guys, if you loved this, you really need to watch Agust D - “Agust D”!
It’s Yoongi at his brilliant best. Cadence, flow and s**t talking at its very best!
You’ll love it!!
Suga is actually part of royalty. I believe there's an empress in his long long ago past
You two are very insightful, seriously. I wish you'd react to the explanation video of Daechwita. Borahae!
Yay finally!
Jin with the beard
riches can also make you egocentric
he's killing the version of himself that only cared about that
the 'mad king' drunk with power but overtime he found himself and is taking claim of who he really is
I don't think this song comment on B-free since that happened years ago and some of the cyphers did (but maybe this song does that too idk lol) BTS has so many haters, pissed and jealous rappers and fake people around.
I don't understand...they never missed the traps and I will just laugh at them."
WHAT A KING 👑💜
So yeah, sometimes their songs are not speaking directly about someone but those haters always ended up getting burned and exposing themselves.💀
Please react to your song Agust d you will not regret seeing another aspect of him as a composer, the direction of the video, photography you will like
Do the DKDKTV explanation
Do the behind the scenes shooting sketch. See Jin getting his beard put on and JK hypnotising a chicken!💜
DKDKTV...go and watch the most or the best explanation u can get..all of ur questions would be answered
please watch the explaination by DKDKTV too :))
Agust 'D aka is Suga the same Guy
from BTS.
you seriously need to look at the DKDKTV Explained by A korean . It explains so much of the korean references that we don't understand as non-koreans.
💜
I mean you got there the lower class Suga wearing modern clothing, not only the car. It is actually meant to mean something about the time, like old and new.
Please react to DKDKTV explanation
Pleaseeee do his self titled song "Agust D" if you havent already!!!

AUGUST - D HE IS THE KING 👑, HE IS THE BOSS💪✨
Min Yoongi NEVER did drugs.
No one notices that the gun looks more like a "Mic!" 🤔🤨🎤😏😜
You would really love and appreciate the mv if you totally get the deep message of the mv.
Soo about who is he talking about ... Suga actually said that he didn't have anyone in mind, but if You feel it us about you it is your problem not his.... Haha
So he simply say it to everyone that feel insulted 😁
(And Bfree situation was like 5 years or more befor this song was made sooo I don't thing it has anything to do with it, bc I know Suga isn't person to let things like this sit that long... He said what he wanted in older songs and for sure win)
Ahh I'm sure when he was writing this he had some people in mind that fuel this lyrics but he never tell this things.
I wonder if we have already seen his 'Agust D'?
Did you se 2 guys fighting behind Suga at the market is Jin and jungkook
This is how bts respond to haters write a song to theme lol
did you noticed jin and jungkook?
Yes!!! The boys in the market place!!! 🎉🥳💜🎉🥳💜🎉🥳💜💜🎉🥳
Next Explanation by DKDKTV plz 💜
💜🇧🇷
Guys please react to BTS Hardships 2013-2021 by xCeleste if you haven't 🥺😭💜
please react to daechwita explained by dkdktv :)
I think he kills his king self bc he doesn’t want to be above everyone. He wants to stay grounded even though he’s rich and powerful.
I apologize for the long comment I just wanted to add some interesting points to your comment😊 be well 💜
@@laurahilliker5336 Adding is all good. Makes for good education and discussion. My comment above was made to address why the vehicle doing a donut on the palace grounds was not as out of place as it might seem as may have represented something noteworthy. But as you point out Daechwita is a literal treasure trove of interesting things.
criticism given the inherent commercial nature of the Idol platform. However, stereotyping BTS as opposed to basing judgement on actual evaluation did lead to many ugly us versus them prejudiced smears. BTS was a unique
He kill the Cruel n arrogant (haters).... 9r himself as his side of arrogncy???
