I lived in frazee for a few years as a young boy. I rode my bigwheel and eventually a real bike, all over that little town haha. I loved going to the small mom and pop shop owned by this amazingly kind old couple (leonard and doreen) who had been there for decades I believe, to get snacks or rent movies (vhs lol). Lots of fond memories there. And the parades are always fun for the kids, that is for sure! Growing up, my brother and I snuck into the rear entrance of the butcher shop and saw a lot of stuff 5 and 6 year olds probably shouldnt see, one of the workers had a bart simpson shirt on and he sprayed us with a hose that he was cleaning blood off the floor with. Pretty bizarre right? But also hilarious. Later on, a bull escaped from the shop and ran through our yard. We lived very close to main. I also remember going to the laundromat with my mom and brother and always wanting to play the mario bros arcade machine even though I had a nintendo at home lol. But usually my bro and I would just push eachother around in the little carts they had for laundry. Good ole early 90's. RIP turkey park zipline!

Remember taking NP's Mainstreeter trains 1 and 2 until 1970, but train stopped at Perham and Detroit Lakes and not Frazee. Miss those trains.
