Barrie, Ont. men charged with fraud in connection with alleged pool installation scam

Days after two Barrie men were charged with fraud in connection with an alleged pool installation scam, disgruntled Sommerland Pools and Landscapes customers are coming forward, claiming they were swindled out of thousands of dollars for services that were never delivered.

You can't in this day and age. With the amount of scams going on out there it's sickening. My parents got scammed by a company claiming they could fix their broken dryer. Well a guy came and looked at it. Charged them $300 just for him to look at it. Then he said it would cost another $500 to fix it. At that point my Dad knew he was scammed.
