I could see the O's giving up that package of prospects for someone with a track record like Skubal but not for a guy that is already doubled the most innings he ever pitched and has injury history that is looking like he might have some baggage as well.

Why would Baltimore and LA trade anyone of value to the White Sox when Getz showed yesterday he’s willing to get fleeced?
The Sox were already fleeced by hiring Getz (thank you, Jerry Reinsdorf). Sox need to get rid of all three-Getz, Grifol, AND Reinsdorf.

I've grown to appreciate DeRosa as an analyst over the years, but these industry insiders prefacing their comments with niceties like "i believe Chris Getz can get it done", unnecessary. Mind you, the jury is out on Getz's small sample size, although 3 prospects for Pham, Fedde, and Koepech, is farcical. IMHO, because owner Jerry is not serious about this team winning, Getz was another lame lazey hire and more proof of that. Jerry hired some staff from a mediocre at best Royal's organization to "right the ship." Accumulating prospects does the Sox no good if they can't develop them. The White Sox farm system was ranked as the best in the MLB in 2017. What were they ranked 2018-2021 when he was promoted. Lastly, all the batting technology and batting coaches and they can't fix the swing of even one of the hitters on the 40 man roster, some the players who have been in the majors for multiple years and some who got worse under this Pedro's staff.
This white sox team might have the worst rbi hitting squad ever...worst 3 for sure...
