What i like about the capsules here is that while there is nothing like a red potara, there aren't any capsules that cost more then 1 slot, no matter how powerful it is, mean8ng that you can have the top 8 most broken capsules equipped at the same time

@silverrath you can use anything other than a rush attack to drain skill meter if they perception to stop instant spark , or revenge if they try and knock u away . And to stop afterimage strike all u need is a lot of ki . And hold them down with ki blasts . Afterimage is especially easy for me to counter bc I manage my ki well . And the fast attacking characters are easiest to super counter bc u have an opportunity everytime they attack .
Steed im not sure if you know it but you dont need to have Goku ssj4 to be able to fuse as long as is in your team! You can pick Vegeta and fuse when you have 4 Skill points!!!
The issue with Guard Assist tho is that it eats your inputs by trying to overwrite them with blocking, so it's damn near impossible to win a vanish war for example because you'll vanish once and immediately eat shit.
prob one of my favorite items is one i cant remember the name but it gives you full ki at the beginning of the fight wich makes winning a vanish war early game almost guaranteed or style of the strong which makes your sparking mode last longer
mashing super counter makes it random and less consistent. it’s really hard to get it by mashing; it’s easier on certain hits tho. it’s better to just lab it and actually learn the timing; you’ll get it a lot more frequently that way
Well, you don't have to keep flicking the analog stick. You just have to hold it and press square to get the super counter. However, I will say that the only issue with it is the timing. You have to time it at frame 4.
@ in my experience it’s easier to flick the analog stick and press square at the same time. whenever i just hold up and press square it never works whether i mash it or time it. but when i flick and press at the same time it works most of the time when i want it to
Sure, but online, it's not as consistent. If the window is already small and you're getting rushed by a quick attack chain, you're best off mashing it and timing it during heavy or vanish attacks
3:20 they need to fix that bug. I do it SO much and its so annoying. My ultimate hits the person but they take no damage and the cutscene doesnt trigger. It has to be a bug.
Guard assist is actually really bad to have on. It forces you to block guard breaks, so if you see someone has one, just spam guard breaks and they wont be able to do anything about it because guard assist will lock them in place blocking (It happened to me I didn't even realize guard assist was a thing)
The only capsules that are really op in any way or god ki and maybe super armor. Unless you use giants, where you can just use the secret to burst dashes to infinite combo your opponent for good. Everything else are minor damage increases or "loose a small percentage of a small amount" kinda items that do little while just putting on more hp counters most of those by default. Depending on what you play though, swap timer reduction and hp recover when swapped out are really high up there too.
Steedoj you dont need god ki on teen gohan especially if you coming from no capsul meta and with your skill levels. It's better used on rush attack or chain damage increasing capsules or more ho capsules. 2 bar supers r competitive with most god ki reductions for higher bar cost supers. You already know how to manage your resources to point god ki is just icing.
Nah but having maximim goobey capsules on against the Cups in offline battle is cracked, it puts you on a major powertrip and is just plain aweaome, ranked is just ass I so hope that one day they make it so you can set characters healths by bars in a customization menu type deal so I can just put the bots on max health and then see how long it takes to chunk them with the strongest characters with the strongest capsules on
God ki on master roshi you can infinite look the thunder flash attack and because of your afterimage strike it doesn’t run out while you’re in the move so you have it forever
I've ran today in a "special player" who was able to normal doge the vanish counter, so he was able to always counter mine. (the normal r1 press while get hitted by a triangle attack) That's maybe a way to avoid these annoying vanish war until your ki runs out. I'd testet a bit around, but without any succsess. It looked like he did the r1 doge after the front or side doge. (Not every character is able to do that, if you stand close to your enemy, you can doge in every direction with a X press on ps controller, after that you can do a secound dage with a r1 press) Maybe you are able to find out, how to do that. He played ssj Trunks (Sword) and i Golden Frieza, he did it always after at least 1 r1 vanish and the gaming platform was steam. Good luck.
Thats a glitch only able to do with Trunks with sword and Tapion and you can only do it when you as the character initiates the Z Counter exchange but say you get sent flying and start the vanish war trying to dodge you can’t step into it you would have to get a super counter off to restart it in a sense then you can step the counter
Yeah it's a little crazy but this mode actually makes some mid tiers more viable since the low tiers all have broken skills that they can endlessly spam anyways and high tiers do absurd damage

Not the best out of past games but my only gripe with items in this game is that they don’t have any defensive stat boost only attack, ki, super/ults and other side stuff…. The only one defensive capsules on here is being able to regain health over time in a match but that’s admit it for real
the game is better with capsules , it gives some personalization / builds to some characters and help counters most cheeses BUT... then there is "godki"... and ruins the whole experience , people spamming 1 move infinite of times until it hits you... we can't have nice things people will abuse it with or without capsules, "The secret to Ki" is a capsule that for whatever reason is only for custom battles which reduce Ki needed for blast By 1 bar sounds way better than "Godki" that reduces ki needed by half and on top of that give Ki back if misses -.- whoever thought of that is braindead

Like the lil number that says you have a high win ratio and are high rank really that important? 😂 I don’t trust any high rank with high win rates honestly. Smells like rage quit to me 😂 Altho I have only seen like one rage quit since I bumped the setting for “finishes match” to the highest setting in queue finding
“God Ki” and “the secret to Z burst dash” are SO GOOD🤣 The rest is just preference but yo I’ve been COOKING in player matches since day 1 on sparking. Win streaks everyday 🤷♂️
Put god ki on master roshi and thunder surprise attack is a damn near infinite loop and it just farms you skill points for afterimage so with the dragon spirit one you’re literally the best character in the game I’ve wiped everyone’s ass with it people I shouldn’t be beating at all

I’ve had people deadass spam me like 3 or 4 times in row with that bs but I’ll tell you it did help me learn how to dodge it near every time. Started making people rage quit after I started repeatedly dodging roshi’s LSA and counter them 😂
