@@marvinheemeyer6660 he’s going to love it! Be sure to get him a good helmet to wear every time he gets on the board and start slow as these can take a bit to get used to.
@@GearKnowHow + Thanks for the suggestion. Safety is a must with me. This device will no doubt get him out the house & cruising the neighborhood. And with your review of the app I also realize it can "supervised" more than I previously knew about. As a parent what features about the app that you could personally share that I may appreciate?
You can use the old pint front bumpers on the x. Gives extra clearance. The front bumper is just air and extra plastic to even up the look.
True, I’ve hit the nose on a few steep inclines so I may opt for more clearance
Pretty good video dude. While sometimes you are still a little too close up it wasn't prohibitive to the video like some people do and you didn't point the camera at the ground too much either another problem I see in a lot of OneWheel vids. I also liked that you showed us the actual app screen close enough so that we could see it! Some of us have newly discovered the OneWheel and I, for instance, don't even have one YET! So I don't have any idea what the app screens, features, controls et cetera look like so that helped, although in your next vid please try and add a close-up screens look in your further review. I can't speak for everyone but I think that those like myself who don't have a OneWheel and haven't seen the app on their own phone might appreciate that addition. In any case, all in all, it was a pretty good video.

they are dirty bc they have someone ride every board before they box it up to make sure everything is working correctly

I've had an XR for a few months and popped for the GT bundle. Not exactly sure why I need all that range....my feet are aching after 5-7 miles! Hopefully that's just part of the learning curve.
Keep curving back and forth, it really helps with foot fatigue
@@GearKnowHow I will try to get better at that. Supposedly the GT is more "carvey" like the Pint. Perhaps that will help.

All that dust and stuff stuck in the grip is from the cardboard bumpers. The rest of the dust covering the board also looks like cardboard remnants from the boxes. I’ve gotten 4 Onewheels and they’ve all been covered in that stuff. Haha
Yeah most likely, no complaints as these boards are going to get way dirtier
@@GearKnowHow truth. I do keep my boards clean but they inevitably get covered in road grime and scratches.
Great video my XR is still practically new with 608 miles for now will hold it. The GT is nice but not right now🇺🇸🚀➖⚫️➖

On my way to work I have some pretty strep 15° to 20° hills where I need to be able to stop on red lights. My electric longboard can do a full stop no problem when going down those hills.
Do you think the original Pint would be able to do it?

Hey, oh 100%. It brakes on a dime by design and has a battery regen feature while going downhill.

Yeah I try to find new trails all the time. Raleigh has some good/very long ones too.
Regular pint pushback always hit me at 13.5. 16.7 would be nice.
It’s been consistent around 17mph with the X over the last few rides
It also depends on what ride setting you have it on, i always set my boards to custom, that way the speed limit is always at max. As some of the pre made ride setting’s have lower limits for the speed, which cause push back earlier.
@@dj1847 pint doesn’t have custom settings unfortunately. Just the 4 presets
@@travishamiltontattoos4635 Oh your right! Been riding my XR lately so I forgot the pint is more limited in that regard.
What setting do you usually ride on though? Cuz i usually ride my Pint on Skyline, and I usually cruise around at about 19-20km/h and i’ve never had issues with pushback.
Edit: oh just saw your going by Mph, not Kph i’m canadian. Haha
so that’s about the same speed as your getting pushback, and i’ll say it is safer to not hit the higher speed’s close to the speed limit on the boards.
About a year or so ago, i went 30kmh on my XR and ended up wiping out, dislocated my shoulder and shredded a pre Nasty hole in my elbow that took like 2 weeks to even start closing. So it’s safer to just cruise, and not push the speed limits on these boards! Ahah
