I'm happy that at 1:29, one last time before I switch my RUclips profile pic to something else, after having it being this pic for years, I vidded that moment in 2x01 with Kathryn kissing Bay's head and her smiling. 😉💜 Actually though I am so happy with both of my parts in this collab overall, vidding undervidded moments and capturing the lyrics as much as I could. I carefully re-watched our Travis "Remain" collab and re-watched when Bookwormkehprodz vidded John/Travis back in 2013 in our "Where You Belong" platonic relationships collab before making my own Travis/John part here and I tried my best not to repeat moments already vidded in this collab group some they have so many good moments to work with. I also really did think that John had an anger management problem just like Travis and when he told Travis he needed to get to the bottom of it or else it would keep messing up his life in the last episode, it reminded me of personal to John moments that had nothing to do with Travis, so I hope that made sense in the context of my part and was an ok choice on my part?? lol maybe it was a bit convoluted... I also picked the "What if you believed me?" lyric for Kathryn/Bay with that voiceover that I vidded leading up to it, that moment from the pilot when Bay doesn't believe Kathryn, in mind, and again I really hope people get why I vidded this the way I did. I really love so many lyric matches and voiceover choices throughout this entire collab. lbchatterbox, I loved how uniquely you matched the idea of Regina still coming to "meet" Angelo after he's dead and "gone", and I love the focus in your Bay & Daphne part on a lot of moments that aired AFTER we finished that chronological tribute to them in only seasons 1-3 in this collab group. Gil T, your Daphne/Mango part makes me miss them so much and was so beatuiful and unique for our collab group, and powerfully impressive and matching lyrics without needing any voiceovers for that power. Your Bay/Emmett part was such a perfect start to the collab, and the voiceover choice captured the tone of the song so so well. I felt a little weird at first choosing a song that had lyrics about needing to "hear your voice" for a show so focused on Deaf people who both can't literally hear and also don't use their literally voices, so I was especially happy when that voiceover wad used and captured how really there are multiple ways to listen... and also that pitufa003 ended up vidding non-Deaf characters in those lyrics. pitufa003, your lyric matching for Toby/Lily was so spot on, really impressive and creative use of the part there. I really like Lily upset about her career as a dream possibly being gone because of her pregnancy at the start of your part, for instance. It matches lyrics in really unique ways!! I loved that you worked in both Mary Beth and Ty as important recurring characters throughout the show into this collab, too. And finally, JulesheartsMikita, your parts are both so so gorgeous, and touching. that I love you sign while Daphne waves goodbye without them needing to caption it is one of the best moments, those touches in the Regina & Daphne part are so gentle and make me feel so much, and then the happiness of that family at the end just seemed like the perfect ending to the entire collab. Also the lyric match for "no matter where you run" with Emmett on a Web phone call couldn't have been more perfect.
Thank you Emily. I'm so glad we got Angelo back for the 100th eppie so I had more material for my Regina/Angelo part. Honestly for my Daphne/Bay part, I felt they were closer the last two 2 seasons and the season 5 premiere was big for them so I wanted to showcase that. I'm glad I got to use newer clips too.
Yeah they have so many amazing scenes in seasons 4 and 5. ;) I would agree they're closer. Some of the other relationships have less or no moments but they have more which is nice.
