Hi Helga!! :D Great shoutouts Kyle. Nice tutorial on the tire decals. They had quite a few of the Indy Car kits over at the show yesterday. I kept looking at them but grabbed some other stuff. Nice job bud!
@@timcarson8146 thanks Tim!! I appreciate you watching. Pick one up sometime!! You’ll have a blast with it. They are great little stress free builds. Really appreciate you watching!
Great video Kyle!! That will come in handy! I have bought a bunch of decals from IndyCals for the different Ford GT liverys, and the Corvette liverys, gonna be some cool builds one day! Thanks for sharing!
@@dragonfreak123 thank you, and awesome!! You probably have some great options then. I really like his decals. They’re a little different but they work great!

Hi Helga 😺. Thanks for the tips Kyle, tire decals are a new venture for me and I suck at them lol. How are you removing the raised lettering prior to this? You say you cut them off but with a knife, sprue cutters, etc?
@@scaleffect hey thanks for checking it out!! If I’d thought about it I would’ve included that bit in the video. But I didn’t think of it until they were all cut off. I use a fresh or relatively fresh #11 blade or scalpel. Just try to slide it under the letters while keeping it flat. You can shave it pretty thin if you take your time and then there’s very little side wall cleanup needed. I just smooth it all back out with a sanding stick. Sometimes I slip up a little and take a hair too much but even then the sanding stick will smooth it back out. Like everything else with this hobby, just take your time. Lol
It was definitely nice to meet you in person. I'm glad you gave me the heads-up that you'd be in the neighborhood. Thanks for the shout-out.
