Tell me about it. I saw few videos on youtube they were catching some nice crappies. That's the reason I wanted to go try out to see how it is....I don't know what I did wrong or the crappies just not out there that day but after all I can't complainted. I did catched it a different type of fish that day. No skunk...Lol

This lake located between Madera and Fresno. Calaveras Lake is located way down at LA. So, if that's your question, then it is far.
