    this is by far the best portable bluetooth, gonna sell my bose soundlink max. This one has the best spacious sound in stereo mode so soothing to hear side by side..

    Just on the battery life for the flex, I’ve charged mine with a power meter attached to the charger. The flex keeps charging after the light indicates “100%”. After that initial 100% is reached it keeps charging to balance the cells and the rate of charge progressively slows. But it continues to charge for about another hour. Letting this happen seems to add another 90 min to two hours usage (from totally full to flat)

    I have both the first and second gen speakers. The biggest improvement for me is TWS. The OG flexes don't really do stereo well. I think it's Boses own attempt at making it work. The second gen ones with 5.3 and a much better chipset do stereo perfectly. It's far superior and simpler to set up vs the originals.
    The sound quality has been refined quite a bit on the new ones too. The bass is tighter, the mids a little warmer and the treble is much smoother. I found the treble on the original quite "crunchy" sometimes. The 2nd gen are perfect.

      Can you pair the Gen 1 and Gen 2 speaker together for party mode or stereo mode ?

      @ unfortunately no. The internal chips are new so they don't link.

    My Gen 1's won't charge from a high power (laptop grade) usb-c charger. I hope they fixed that. It also doesn't work with my Pixel 8 but does with my older Pixel 7. Maybe the Bluetooth version upgrade fixes that. Best sound though for any speaker in this size and price and really amazing when you pair them in stereo mode.

      Bose lasts long and is durable. That’s why they’re expensive.

    The front grille on my Gen One Flex is steel, not aluminum. It has been dropped on cement twice, and only has a tiny gash in the paint finish, very well built.

    Will the Gen 2 connect with Gen 1? I have the Gen 1.

    • @abtelectronics
      @abtelectronics  20 дней назад

      @abhishekganguly6534 At this time they do not connect to one another. For Party Mode or Stereo Pairing you would need to connect 2 of the same generation models together.

    To use Snapdragon sound you must have at least a 888 processor, without you can't benefit from that feature, even if it's embeded in the new flex 2.

      1.Who cares about charging speed? You ruin the battery with fast charging
      2.output is already way above it's size, not it's louder and has eq.
      3.when the driver is well made and is able to produce all frequencies with no distortion, you don't need a twitter.
      You can't afford it we get it.

      @@prash1246 3 band eq is far from being useless, it makes a very significant difference and i use it.
      Flip 6 gets it's loudness only from removing bass and boosting mids and highs. So none of what you said is really true.

    What a disappointment, it's more of the same, Bose making rehashes, it seems that Bose fired all the audio engineers, they no longer make really new speakers, Bose is slowly disappearing from the audio market.

      Gotta disagree. Go to a store like Best Buy and compare these to similar size and price speakers and they really do sound better. Gen 2 isn't about big new features. It just fixes a number of the nagging deficiencies of the Gen 1, especially the Bluetooth version. That's fair since the price didn't change.

    • @shoerice5083
      @shoerice5083 Месяц назад +10

      Cap.
      The speaker is already perfect. You can't make it sound larger because it's already at it's full potential. New bluetooth, better codec, eq support are the last parts that make it a full experience. I can tell you have no clue about this speaker or bose in general.

      Well for example like with JBL. The jbl flip 5 sounded good then they came out with the flip 6 which added a tweeter. The flip 6 is around the same size as the Bose SoundLink Flex 1 and 2.
      Bose could have redesigned the SoundLink flex and added a tweeter.

      The thing is, it is not the same😂
      Got the new gen 2, and used a very specific eq with added mids.
      Couldn't get back to the old flex. The sound is way better and the bass is deeper.
