Idk why it is hard for some people to grasp the idea of free will. Just imagine instead of Allah giving us the chance to perform deeds in this world he just directly sent us to Jannah or Jahannam. It would seem so unfair to us since we were never sent to this world. Imagine a teacher just giving you your test results which you never took, saying they already knew what you were gonna get in the test. So why bother with you even trying? Of course you would question your teacher and it would be completely unfair for you to not even try the test yourself!
Another example, just imagine a baby is born and you know that the child is gonna grow up to become a tyrant king one day, would you just kill the child right away just because you know they’re gonna do bad deeds? That would be so unfair on the child!
It is literally Allah’s mercy that he is giving us the chance to try, he GAVE us the answers he GAVE us the rules, he even told us what will happen on the judgement day! simple, just follow it! And when we die we can’t complain to Allah that he never gave us free will and the chance to even try. Again whatever is our outcome Allah will know since he is all knowing.

Regarding the teacher student example, what if the teacher already knew that a particular student is going to write 2+2=5 . because the teacher knows everything(in this case Allah(s.w.t)), then where is the free will? This question of free will has always puzzled me from the very beginning. I don't know whether it really exists or we are just living in a holographic simulation where everything is predetermined and free will is just an illusion. I hope i would be able to find a reasonable answer to this ques someday in sha allah....

Every thing is written in a book by Allah. Every single act you do is written but we as his creations are bound to act as He has said in Surah al-Mulk "He who created death and life to test which of you is best in deeds"
So, we cannot complain and not do anything because everything is already written for us it is simply not our level . Just as a robot would not complain to it's programmer and would simply follow it's algorithm.
Similarly we have to do the best deeds possible and at the end , that will be what's written for .

Brother it is not classified as daif by Albani.
The scholars differed in opinion in regard to the classification of this Hadeeth whether it is authentic or inauthentic. Some of them classified it as inauthentic, such as At-Tirmithi, Al-Eshbeeli and others. However, some of them classified it as Hasan, such as Al-Albaani.
What you should know so that you will not be confused, is that the difference in classifying the Ahadeeth (authentic and inauthentic) is something that can happen, and this is not strange. This has happened among the scholars from very long ago. So, if a person finds a contradiction between one scholar classifying a Hadeeth as authentic (Saheeh) and another classifying it as inauthentic (Dha'eef); then he should follow the scholar who is more trustworthy in his view.

To your next question about the prophet prohibited the hadith this is totally the wrong selection of work to prohibit something is to refuse the prophet never prohibited the writing of the hadith but rather was afraid that the versus of quran and the writing of hadith would get mixed and cause confusion because both came from the same source (i.e the prophet) and the fear of prophet was exactly that the quran was still gradually getting revelaed at the same time as the hadith writings so fear of confusion and mix up of the two was the reasoning behind this and the rest of your questions have no relevance to this topic but let me remind you my brother deen is not up debate or disection or discussion like an everyday topic you cannot refuse or deny any part of islam be it the hadith or any authentic scripture because it is the word of Allah all the teaching and writing of the prophets are not there teachings or ideas its gods

Is there a need for madhhabs? Can everyone not read the Quran and hadiths and make judgments?
It is not possible for every Muslim individual to learn the religious issues, decrees and judgments directly from the Quran and Sunnah. Only authorized Islamic scholars that have reached the level of ijtihad can do it. The other Muslims need to understand and adopt the explanations and views of those scholars and follow their way. The raw materials of drugs are plants, herbs, mines, etc but not everybody can produce drugs using them; it is necessary to study pharmaceutics; similarly, an ordinary Muslim cannot make judgments about religious issues although the sources are the Quran and Sunnah; only scholars that have reached the level of ijtihad can make judgments about religious issues. Not everybody can have enough knowledge, mental capacity, reasoning, intelligence and foresight to make judgment from religious sources
