It might please you to know that Conway history states that the oblique nib was designed for left-handers. Currently, we have right-footed oblique that more LH people use, and the left-footed oblique which RH prefer. The difference is in the direction of the slant. Having said all that, LH or RH people can use any oblique type. It depends on their preference and handwriting style.
