i wouldn't risk bringing any with you I don't know what the legal ramifications of that is. I'm sure you can find some down there. One of the girls on our trip found some BUT there is huge police presence down there on the strip where the restaurants and beach clubs are.

This was soooo helpful! My gf’s and I are going to Tulum in August and we were looking for a taxi service to rent for the 4 days were there and the best beach club. How much was Tantra If you don’t mind answering? And is there hookah sold separately too?
You're welcome!!! You all are going to have the best time. Unfortunately I can't confirm the cost for the cabana at tantra because one of the ladies actually picked up the tab. #blessher I want to say it was a few thousand dollars because we got a cabana section that included it's own personal jacuzzi. Tulum is weird about the public menus not having the prices on them. The hookah is sold within the beach club so it's on their menu. We walked in with no reservation in the daytime on a week day and time and picked a cabana. I would recommend emailing them directly and asking them for a pdf of their price list.
For Tantra, the regular restaurant tables are 200 USD per person and the highest priced table is $2,500 USD.
A table for 6 guests is about $700 but you get half the money back in food, drink, shisha credit.
