I’ve seen some really goddam good guitarists on RUclips. Too many to name. But I’ve never seen anyone able to play a Bass-line, Melody, Arpeggio, Chords and two distinct lines of percussion without using loops or a backing track. Besides talent, practice and technical competence, I think this requires an incredibly rare kind of musical brain and wonder if we might be witnessing something genuinely special here…

The song I chose for my mother's funeral. It was her favourite. It'll be 20 years ago next week but still bring out tears everytime I hear it and now was no exception 😢

Pavan Bhat I think rather than complex he means ‘creative’. One cover Sungha has shown remarkable creativity is in his cover of Tears in heaven, rather than sticking to the tempo and feel of the song, he transforms it into something rather spectacular and different (some might not enjoy that style of music). A huge amount of creativity went into the creation of that piece which therefore makes it more ‘complex’ compared to adding percussion, taps, and voicings to the song.

Absolutely fantastic, this young guy is one of the best players I've ever seen or heard, his style is similar to a few other acoustic players but his technique and his arrangements are unparalleled he's one of those players who makes me want to practise more 😎 does anyone know how old he was when he started playing?
