  • Well, Vandals, it's that time again, new video time, this video is a fun look at five books from the early days of Vertigo Comics, the roaring 90s! XD, this video was a request from my Buddy Kody from the epic channel Mutant Agenda it would mean the world to me if you checked his channel out, and gave him some views and likes!

Flex Mentallo blew my mind along with the Invisibles. What else can I say? Those were the days to be a Grant Morrison fan. Your videos have become one of the highlights of my week. I will never stop recommending your vids. If I may suggest two possible vid ideas: weird samurai comics (anything that tries to do something different with mid evil Japan in comics outside of manga) or weird west? What ever you do I will be happy to see.

Wow thanks so very much for the very kind words, it actually means a lot, and really helps making the videos all more fun to know people are actually getting things out of them, and yeah those are both epic topic ideas and I'll make videos for both of them, it might be a week or two cuz I'm working on one right now, and after that I want to do a best of 2018 video, but after that I'll get right on them, I especially love the samurai one and already right off the bat have three book picked out for it! Thanks for making my day with your awesome comment

Damn, Morrison's Doom Patrol might be the best thing I've ever read in comics, or at least it was the comic I got most involved with. It actually does feel like a dream, the whole run. Loved all your reviews, I didn't know about Enigma, it got me mad curious. I'll look for it. Really happy to find your channel! Excellent content about comics, with a vision that I share. Greetings from Brazil!

Y: The Last Man and Scalped are my favorite Vertigo series. Older Vertigo is the bomb (no offense ro newer Vertigo though)

Someone has to say it. No no just stay silent. No we mustn't. We needs to say it. Morrison's Doom Patrol was not Veritigo!!! Ha ha just messing with ya. This time of vertigo is my jam!

Well, not originally, neither were Sandman, Hellblazer or Shade the Changing man, they all started as DC titles, but due to the comic code and the censors coming down on them, they were the first books to be made into vertigo books, so they could do an N run around the comic approval code and we are all lucky they did could you imagine how lame the world would be if DC cancelled all those books?
