Really looking forward to seeing how the kraken does on this. I'm looking at the XTR130 just because it seems like it could be a good platform for the kraken. For my build, I'm hoping that I won't need a stern motor. I'd be using this for trolling for salmon in puget sound... so a little different than the bass fishing most of these boats are going to do.
Just got my XTR 130 as well, absolutely love it....doing my build and can't wait to see how you configure that rear deck to hold the BlackPak, because I want to do the same thing...just waiting to see what other XTR owners are coming up with. I got the boonedox bar as well.....I'm using the YakAttack LockNLoad system on it for my dual Garmin 93sv's, so I can remove it really easy. I have the bonafide bow mount plate installed....super easy, plug n play for my xi3. I got the NK300 for the back, just waiting on the bonafide Wizard FCS pedal to release, so I can get this boat configured for pedal steering. YakHobby has a pretty cool transducer mounting system for the XTR 130...might want to check it out. Can't wait to see what you come up w/ for enhancements....great content, keep it up!
I have pictures of our build in my FB/IG stories and the finished product over there in a short vid. We are still gonna do some mounting work on the box (a rear hatch and my rod holders) but it came out super solid. The only that could amke it better would be to have it in the harder trolling motor mount style material. Thanks for the tip on transducer mount, i'll take a look.
@@realdiehlfishingI like the design, can your buddy getrecdfishing make another one for me? I have a blackpak 16” x 16” that I can’t turn the seat around and this is exactly what I need…can you provide specs or can I buy one?
@@HennesseeFishing i'll ask him, no promises - i'm trying to see if i can get boonedox or bigadventures to pick it up and make it on their own. The HDPE board we used by itself was around 100 bucks alone.
@@realdiehlfishing Awesome....Just let me know what it will cost, did you like the thickness of the HDPE board, or would you go thicker? I can be a test for whatever you/he come up w/ as well on my XTR.
So great… nice job. I am rigging two XTRs in March (which was as soon as I could get them here in Minnesota). I wonder if you could answer two questions for me: 1) are you going to cut the shaft of the Garmin trolling motor? I am considering the powerpole Move at 36” but would love to have the forward facing sonar in the trolling motor for simplicity’s sake. 2) love the idea of a bilge pump… can you elaborate on how you did that and what product you are using? Thank you again… awesome job.
@@MichaelLawrence22 dropping my next video in about 5 mins…. Long of short, unsure if I’m chopping the motor yet or not, thinking hard about it, will likely inquire to get it done and compare those notes with it on the water and see what happens. On the bilge, I don’t have any good content on it. It’s attached to a foam block under the front battery tray. I have not built the bilge exit yet. More to follow.
Always a pleasure to assist on these builds!
You the man brother!!!!
Love the work so far, slowly working on mine for the winter

I’ll make sure I get a video up with it on the water soon. My quick release for the kraken was supposed to arrive today, now it says Monday. 😢

Fishing online has those new foot peddle steering controls in stock now
Unfortunately I missed them, fortunately Muddy Bay got me hooked up - just awaiting delivery now.
Just ordered....hopefully they really have them in stock, thx for the heads up.
Got tracking number for pedals

@ okay. Thank you. Will be following your build closely. Thank you again.
Did you end up chopping the length of the trolling motor?
@@MichaelLawrence22not yet, I’m 95% certain I will, it’s an easy action though when I push the button
@@MichaelLawrence22 not yet - most likely soon though
Are you going to cut the shaft on the Garmin?
Unsure yet… may not be necessary since I plan to stand on this so much.
@@realdiehlfishing Right on. Looking forward to seeing that thing on the Bonafide.
@ stay tuned, it’ll be soon, if all goes well, should be tomorrow.
