My fave cover by far. No intro, no shit added. Just straight to the core.
Not many games can say they are still relevant a few years later. DOOM is still arguably the best first person shooter after TWO DECADES. And the badass soundtrack makes it even better. Long live DOOM guy, may he continue to RIP AND TEAR for 20 more years.
To this day still one of the better E1M1 covers. Fantastic.
This should be the main theme of DOOM 2016. The current theme is too slow - At Doom's Gate is supposed to be fast-paced, goddammit!

Jesus. I'm old enough to remember buying the demo as a 3.5" disk in a little cassette-like case, with cover, tiny instruction info section on back of cover! (Vending machine was going to be "bring a blank disk for future games without cost of new disk"! Yes, PRE-Internet in Australia! Wasn't big enough until about 1997!)
(It was kinda like the ID4 Mission Disk, but various games from ID/Apogee! Doom, Wolf3D, Blake Stone, Commander Keen...)
I've seen many renditions of this but this is by far the most accurate I've seen thus far.

that was the stuff back in the day. good old MS DOS mode haha i still have doom and doom II. Take a couple hard disks per game to install. But i need an older OS to run it!

I converted this to a MP3 and Replaced the Ultimate doom First level with this
convert it to .OGG .It's a much better format suitable for the ZDoom engine.Trust me,I used to make maps for ZDoom and Skulltag(I don't map for Zandronum, I quit around the time Zandronum 1.1 came out)

+XII Immoralist Nope, the 'Chorus' in no remorse is almost the exact same pattern [1m33s]. The master of puppets riff is chromatic, this is whole tone.
+catfish? it sounds closer to hooked by dri. a little bit of no remorse, and kinda like behind the crooked cross in some parts.
+stolipuff7 Damn... why does everyone think it's Master of Puppets? It really is No Remorse, just listen to the chorus riff. The rythm is kinda the same to the Master of Puppets riff, but the notes are com pletely different. To give you some proof, I'll give you the notes for all of them below:

As you can see, At Doom's gate follows a pattern that's similar to No Remorse, just two half tones lower (the E stays as it is). If you don't believe me, go look it up yourself.
This is how covers should be made.With respect to the original tracks.
