This camera is a photography lover’s dream. I really hope Fujifilm continue with the line. The closest feel to film I have ever experienced without having to pay the insane pricing of Leica.
@@BlaxkNobility I agree! I remember when I first got my ex pro three shipped to me and when I held it in my hands it was one of the most amazing cameras I have had. It definitely is a beautiful and fun camera to be around 📷
I don’t like that the OVF has no longer two magnification settings, and I dread that the LCD screen will break at some point. For now I still hold onto my X-Pro2 instead.
This is my first camera, i bought the last one available in Chile in 2023, it's a pleasure taking picture with it, never have the opportunity to use a more comforting camera. It's funny you mentioned the build quality, i feel it's pretty solid, but of course i'm afraid to hit it with something or drop it, but i think you feel like that with any 2000 usd digital camera 😅
@surat4895 something about the price, when I bought it in July 2023, the body price in eBay was 2000 - 2200 USD, now I look bodys starting 1450 USD in good conditions. I think maybe the information about the ribbon cable is more known and people prefer to wait until the X-Pro 4/5 or whatever Fujifilm will call it.
@@BobbyG101 surprisingly i haven’t had any issues with the back screen cable yet… i have heard horror stories about the LCD screen failing. I try not to use the lcd screen if i don’t need to so i can dodge this issue. IMO i feel like if your camera is in good condition you won’t have an issue with it.
Is it true that battery backup is the biggest flaw in this camera? How many photos can we take with full charge? How long will be the video run before battery is cooked?
The battery isn’t the greatest, but as long as you get extras you should be good for long shoots. A full battery usually gets you about 450 shots on the mechanical shutter and around ~325~ on the electronic. There’s aftermarket battery combinations that you can pick up for relatively cheap!
I took 1100 photos another day on a single battery with switching camera off and using OVF .It depend what you doing with it. When turned on with sleep stand you can squeeze over 500. Consider to use original battery's
As someone who fell in love with Fuji using x100 series, this is the next logical step. If only they upgraded the XPro 😢 It’s like the Apple iPad mini of cameras
@@aantonic I actually didn’t add any grain in post, the film simulation that I was shooting on has the grain settings on large and high! I honestly never really notice it unless I really zoom into the photo or if I print the pictures.
I never thought I would sell this camera, but I came by a used Fuji Xh2 for about 1000$. Must have been a price error because the camera was in good condition, extra original battery and charger for laughable 1000$. I figured I would flip that camera fot extra money, but daaaamnn, the xh2 is too damn good. Made up my mind in no time, so bye bye x pro3. I miss the camera tbh and I am patiently waiting for the x pro4
@@JoeLopez in my opinion, this camera did a lot to change up the world of digital photography! Before the X-pro line of cameras came out digital photography was very basic and linear, this camera made a huge wave in the digital photography world and in my opinion it allowed photographers like myself and many other others to be inspired again by digital work. I am a young photographer, so my views on photography are probably drastically different than other more matured photographers.

i totally agree brother, this camera is truly amazing!
Beautiful stuff man
Awesome!
Thank you!
I remember picking up the pro 3 in the Fuji store honestly it was best feeling I ever had holding a camera in my hand.

Nice video. What lenses are you using with the x pro 3. I mainly use the 18mm f2 and 35mm f2
The dials on the X-Pro 3 are not plastic. They are milled metal. What is ‘plastic’ on the camera is industrial high grade polymer. Nothing is flimsy.
@@JKatenkamp Thank you for the correction!

Do you have other simulations receipts? Or they appear on the website you gave on the description? Loved the video!
i mainly use the ones on the websites in the description. The ones that fuji already has built in are honestly perfect too!

Just try to fold the screen no further than 90 degrees, should be fine… or, ignore the screen altogether.
I bought my x pro3 used two years ago and sold it in July this year. Had close to 30.000 shots taken with it, zero issues.

do you add grain in post. My Fuji xe1 is almost grainless even at higher ISO

How did a camera released in 2019 save digital photography?
