I want to explain the fact that Jotaro and DIO can fly. Jotaro and DIO aren’t flying they are just bouncing off the buildings. The manga showed this better but animating it was hard
Yeah, in the manga it shows them punching/kicking to move around. So for the manga the animators pulled a Superman. In case you didn't already know, Superman couldn't fly originally, but could jump over buildings. His original animators however didn't want to draw & animate him jumping over & over again, so they simplified it to flying. I think it's probably the same case here. ☺️

As you could see, Dio tried to kick jotaro, but, theres a little detail, Dio kicks jotaro with his left leg. Lets remember that the left side of Dio's body was his weakest side. After sucking Joseph's blood Dio tought he managed to complete his fusion with Jonathan's body, but that was an ilution mainly caused by his ego and desire for victory. That punch on the left leg led to a chain reaction on the left side of Dio's stand that blew his entire left side including his head, and as we all know, if your stand recieves damage, that same damages goes for you.
Fun fact, in the 2nd opening for stardust crusaders during the part where the crusaders are in colored backgrounds (idk how to explain sorry) in Joseph’s part there’s a single triangle near his neck representing the knife DIO threw at him. Same for Jotaro

ALOT of JoJo fans don’t know that it was referenced in the first episode that Jotaro can stop time When star platinum caught the bullet from hitting Jotaro. The speed of a bullet is too fast for any stand to catch. Which is why it was pretty obvious that Star Platinum could stop time Also another hint was Jotaro getting all those things into his prison cell. It’s impossible for all those things to get into his cell without any guards or cameras noticing him. The only way to get those things into his cell was to stop time and have Star Platinum get it for him. Jotaro wasn’t a hundred percent sure that he could stop time but he definitely had a slight feeling that he could which is why he took the chance to shoot himself without even knowing the full extent of his stands abilities. Jotaro knew from the beginning that his stand was too OP That’s why Jotaro was always calm and collected. He knew that no stand user that dio sends could stand against him (no pun intended)
Isn't star platinum stated to be able to move at lightspeed in part 6 on one of those stand stat sheet things? That's way more than fast enough to catch a bullet. But yeah I think he was always able to stop time of course
Jotaro probably subconsciously stopped time to move really fast in some of his fights, like when he caught the first bullet in the cell, and when he moved really far during Wheel of Fortune fight. Also when he grabbed the drink vs Darby, no one saw the drink floating to him at all. Darby was also very intimidated because he thought maybe he stopped time to cheat and look at the cards as he knew Dio's stand's secret - of course he didn't, but yeah.
Honestly, if you look back at clues early on in SC. There are slight hints and foreshadowing of Star Platinum being the same as The World. For one, when the gang were picking names with Tarot cards, Avdol mentioned that 'The World' Card was already taken, and ti pick something else. Jotaro has mentioned that SP specializes in his extreme speed, skill and precision. But It's likely that's all he has ever known, until later. What he thinks of as just him using extreme speed, i think is actually just Jotaro using bits of his Time-Stopping ability without even knowing. It's so quick and brief, he isn't even aware of it. It was also probably why in the first Poker battle with Darby, he freaked out when he saw Jotaro using his stand to get drinks and light his cigarette. Because From what Darby saw, that ability was so uncannily like The World's. It kind of does make sense too. As earlier on, you would see even Dio using his own version of Hermit Purple in the beginning too. Then, Holy sharing the same kind of stand as Joseph when their abilities awoken. So Jotaro, would have to be the one to develop something similar, since it also matches with his soul.

Eh. King Crimson and Made in Heaven are weaker than The World and Star Platinum. Time doesn't exist when it is stopped so King Crimson can't erase it since time doesn't even exist. And, Made in Heaven would have lost easily if Jotaro and everyone had not fallen unconscious when Pucci obtained Made in Heaven. They fell unconscious for about 10 to 15 minutes which allowed Pucci to speed up time to an extent that Made in Heaven could outspeed Star Platinum. But in a 1v1, Star Platinum stops time right at the start and rips apart Made in Heaven.

Jotaro wasn’t a hundred percent sure that he could stop time but he definitely had a slight feeling that he could which is why he took the chance to shoot himself without even knowing the full extent of his stands abilities.
Jotaro knew from the beginning that his stand was too OP That’s why Jotaro was always calm and collected. He knew that no stand user that dio sends could stand against him (no pun intended)
Isn't star platinum stated to be able to move at lightspeed in part 6 on one of those stand stat sheet things? That's way more than fast enough to catch a bullet. But yeah I think he was always able to stop time of course
Dio having a stand was also kind of a curse because now he's even more vulnerable to damage

Jotaro probably subconsciously stopped time to move really fast in some of his fights, like when he caught the first bullet in the cell, and when he moved really far during Wheel of Fortune fight. Also when he grabbed the drink vs Darby, no one saw the drink floating to him at all. Darby was also very intimidated because he thought maybe he stopped time to cheat and look at the cards as he knew Dio's stand's secret - of course he didn't, but yeah.

Honestly, if you look back at clues early on in SC. There are slight hints and foreshadowing of Star Platinum being the same as The World. For one, when the gang were picking names with Tarot cards, Avdol mentioned that 'The World' Card was already taken, and ti pick something else.
Jotaro has mentioned that SP specializes in his extreme speed, skill and precision. But It's likely that's all he has ever known, until later. What he thinks of as just him using extreme speed, i think is actually just Jotaro using bits of his Time-Stopping ability without even knowing. It's so quick and brief, he isn't even aware of it.
It was also probably why in the first Poker battle with Darby, he freaked out when he saw Jotaro using his stand to get drinks and light his cigarette. Because From what Darby saw, that ability was so uncannily like The World's.
It kind of does make sense too. As earlier on, you would see even Dio using his own version of Hermit Purple in the beginning too. Then, Holy sharing the same kind of stand as Joseph when their abilities awoken. So Jotaro, would have to be the one to develop something similar, since it also matches with his soul.

Eh. King Crimson and Made in Heaven are weaker than The World and Star Platinum. Time doesn't exist when it is stopped so King Crimson can't erase it since time doesn't even exist. And, Made in Heaven would have lost easily if Jotaro and everyone had not fallen unconscious when Pucci obtained Made in Heaven. They fell unconscious for about 10 to 15 minutes which allowed Pucci to speed up time to an extent that Made in Heaven could outspeed Star Platinum. But in a 1v1, Star Platinum stops time right at the start and rips apart Made in Heaven.
