Wrong. FFF in the barrel and FFFF in the pan.
That's a Traditions muzzleloader. That's what they recommend in their manual.
I know, because I own one and I've read the manual.

We get the term “going off half cocked” from muskets. When you pull back the flint/hammer the first click it’s at half cocked and when you pull it back the whole way it’s full cocked. Sometimes the musket can go off at half cocked if the mechanics aren’t good inside it.

A good habit with ALL muzzle loaders is not to use your big powder horn to fill ANYTHING but your measure. There have been embers in barrels and/or pans set off the powder in them and bye bye hand. This is important on ALL muzzle loaders for followup shots but on a flintlock if something goes wrong and the flint drops, it's over. You can get special flintlock pan primers but just dump a little in your measure, then use that to prime the pan. If something happens its gonna be a poof / small bang instead of a massive one.
I just point this out because KG is big enough that there are people who are gonna see it as a tutorial. And also yes, there are powder horn measures. We have all seen the "Put your finger over the end, tilt it, blah blah" Those can and have blown up in people's faces. That is for fast reloads in battle. For recreation shooting never bring more powder ANYWHERE near the gun than you are gonna put into it. As a habit i always put the rifle down, fill my measure, put down the horn, THEN pick the rifle back up. Eventually it just comes natural like how over time you just naturally never point one at someone.
I use a Pedersoli baby flask made for pistols as a primer for mine. Hold finger and tilt. Then it seals off the rest. Works great.

60 grain of pyrodex did perfectly on a 50+ yard shot on a whitetail last week but I used a sabot it also did not pass all the way through but dropped dead in its tracks

Their is a bad delayed reaction when you pull the trigger because that little hole where you put the powder is called the touch hole and a little powder needs to go in their better shots and less delay

I recently bought this same rifle. Just finally figured it out today. Used 2f in the pan and main charge and it went off every time. Going to use it for PA flintlock season.

For that style of stock the butt of the gun goes in the crease between the arm and the shoulder and you should almost aim it across your body rather than just straight infront of you. Hope this helps for comfort while aiming
You should also look into making your own black powder. You dont have to use the real stuff. Most of the alternatives work great buts its also not that hard to make your own. Like i said the stuff in the stores works great. It's just a different.
😂 mine after a few rounds now has a bullet lodged in it because it was a late bang with nothing but the pan going off 😂 I need to get a puller to get it out.

Go to Buffalo Arms for your powder and you should use ffg or fffg for down the barrel and ffffg for the pan

Never use 4f for a main charge for the flash pan it’s fine 3f is pushing it for a rifle charge 2f is recommended for the main charge of a rifle
Triple F powder is the finest you should be using for your main charge, quadruple F or 4F is only made to be used as priming powder and carries risk of damaging your gun or you.
