    This is THE BEST channel on plant instructions. Thank you. Pictures and words are so clear rather than a lot of extra talk. I'm in Texas and will hopefully get my snapdragons to bloom a little longer unless the really hot weather arrives early. THANK YOU.

    Hello I’m new to all of this, do I do this when some of the flowers are withered as well?

    • @crochetgardenrepeat
      @crochetgardenrepeat  Год назад +2

      Good morning! Yes, you can cut spent flowers too. You don’t have to wait til they form seed pods💚

    Thanks for sharing your planting skills. I didn’t find a video of when you germinated them but I’m sure it’s the same paper towel method. Great info on snapdragons. I love them but I’m having a hard time keeping my seedlings alive and viable after they sprout. This year I’ve managed to kill all my snapdragon seedlings 😢 but still want to keep trying. Thanks again for your videos. Maybe I can find one where you take me through all the steps. 😊❤️

      I don’t believe I made a video for germinating these. I used the paper towel method. I lose a lot of snapdragons too. I have way better luck just sprinkling seeds directly outside. I’m so sorry you lost all of yours. There’s still time if you sprinkle them outside and keep them watered. Good luck🌱💚

    May I ask where you got those nice clippers from?

    • @crochetgardenrepeat

      Walmart, but you can get them at other stores or online as well. They are called

    Just curious can you do anything with the cut off pods? Or are they best to be composted.

    • @crochetgardenrepeat
      @crochetgardenrepeat  Год назад +2

      Not at this stage, but if you wait til the stems and pods are dry and tan, you can harvest the seeds inside the pods.

    some of my "seed pods" are looking like they are fixing to bloom....I didn't cut those. Is that right?

    • @crochetgardenrepeat
      @crochetgardenrepeat  6 месяцев назад +1

      New buds could look similar to a seed pod, so I’m not sure if you have seed pods or new buds. Seed pods will eventually dry and turn a light brown color. I hope that helps!🌱💚

      @@crochetgardenrepeat thank you so much!! I just got these plants not even 2 weeks ago and they were in full bloom. Now the blooms fell off but I'm thinking they're looking like they're gonna bloom again. We've had a lot if rain that could have removed the flowers unless that's just how they do. Mu first time with these plants...and I got a whole flat I liked them so much and got my mom some for mother's day...but the blooms came off.
